The wood finish is great. Size is perfect for us. Building the furniture was completed easily with the tool and directions supplied. Under the table, one of the 4 boards that slide out to support the drop leaf part was a little looser than the other 3 and has ragged edges like it was remade or something. “The Sturdy Table That Could….”
This table is very well made. You will need a socket wrench as the hex wrench sent with the table is rather ridiculous to attempt to use. Once you have unwrapped everything, and put the thing together, it will take you a couple of hours. We got the two chairs that go with it. They are well made too. Great value for the price. We like it, It's the perfect size for our kitchen nook . How do I keep the top of the table shinny and safe from water spots, hot dishes, etc.? Is there a special oil product?

Well built, dining room furniture.
This is the most beautiful sturdy, well built table. Beautiful shine to the finish. Sooo easy to put together. They even had the washers together on the nails. And to my relief I did not have to add the leafs in putting it together, they come connected. Nice wood. Really a good purchase. Went back and bought two dining room chairs. You get more than you pay for!!
