I never saw anything that said it would need a box spring. I bought it as a bundle. The bed and the mattress. YOU NEED TO PURCHASE A SEPERATE BOX SPRING.

Not worthy of being called a mattress.
Was very unhappy with mattress. My son is at college and the Portland team got approval from higher ups to replace the 8 inch mattress. I am working with Portland to have mattress replaced but there seems to be a glitch in the process. I would not recommend the 8 inch Mattress. You could feel the springs. Mattress was crooked and bent. I was told it was same as one in store but sure didn't feel like it. As of today he still does not have the new mattress we were promised when I originall...

Hard as a rock!
It’s awful. I don’t know how I ended up finding a worse mattress than I had before, but I did. I feel like I’m sleeping on the ground. I woke up this morning and cried for an hour straight. I was hurting so badly. I am exhausted! I wish I could get my old mattress back
