Would RecommendThe old one was installed in 1991. It did not seal well against the brick wall and there was significant corrosion on and in the outlet. I'm using this cover with a decorator style outlet to get two screws rather than one to hold it tight against the wall. Seems much better - but time will tell.

Would Not RecommendThe hinge is heavy which could be a good thing or bad. It's hard to keep open with one hand while trying to plug in anything. And since it's hinged on 1 side, the lid opens at an angle which is, imo, not the best. Too lazy to return, so just using it.
