Good cover.

Works like it’s supposed to. Used outside on two new boxes.

Unused outlet stays shut

Nice sponge-like rubbery backer that forms watertight around perimeter of the gang-box as you tighten and screw this cover down, separate doors spring to shut position as soon as you remove each plug.

Good utilitarian cover, can be tricky to install

Good covers for conventional duplex outlet in outdoor setting. Note that it will take three hands to install it, especially if you are mounting it on a horizontal box. The springs that close the covers are quite strong, you will need one hand to hold them open, while a second hand positions the plate over the outlet, and a third hand turns the screwdriver. I had a small electrical project to do and I knew Lowes carried a good selection of items to choose from. The cover is well made, and weather tight seal.

Much better than the big box

Pros easy to install and only takes a minute to do so. Con only opens to 90 degree angle so sometimes aggravating

This product was a replacement to an older version that had the spring come out. Easy to install and fit over the current outlet. The door spring works great, and I no longer have to worry about water getting in to my outlet.

Do not over tighten or u will rip the center recep

Not suitable for GFCI

I like that it’s a two cover electrical cover but it only works with round outlets and not GFCI which is what I had so it will need to be returned.
