What Customers Are Saying
The product is generally well-regarded for its ability to effectively contain and capture fine dust and debris, maintaining strong suction even when nearly full. The bags are described as durable, easy to install and use, and helpful in keeping the workspace clean by preventing dust from escaping the vacuum. However, some reviewers felt the bags were overpriced. Overall, the product is considered a reliable and useful accessory that can significantly improve the dust collection capabilities of a shop vacuum.

Gets up fine particle !! PERFECT !!
Would Recommendthese bags have been ideal... tearing up old tile for spot repairs .. grinding down old grout and mortar.. these bags worked like a charm.. all other bags busted because of the fine particle. I ran the shop vac right behind the grinder and it sucked it up before it hit the air.. saved me a dusty kitchen on this repair. **follow the directions on installing this bag so you get a direct fit with insert ** ... Definitely recommend this product. AAA +++
Check your spout before buying.
Would Not RecommendSo one thing that wasn't clear when I read the description is that the interior spout configuration matters. The instructions printed on the actual product show it being used with three different spouts. One points to the side and is fixed in place (like mine), one that slides out and points to the side, and another that slides out but points down. My experience with the fixed spout pointing to the side is that the bag is shorter than the vac is deep which causes the bag to fill up, hang by the ...
5-Gallon Collection bag.
Would Not RecommendThe paper bags are to thick they cut the pickup airflow to not being useful. The air flow is so limited the bag will not expand. I tried expanding them by hand, but it did not help. A cloth bag with a zipper would be better. I'm going to look for another brand of shop vac.
Drywall collector bags
Would Not RecommendBags did not hold up well. They ripped before being full. Also the bags reduced suction of hose.

Improved performance filtering
Would RecommendI use these bags with my random orbit sander. The exhaust port on my dewalt random orbit sander needed a minor alteration to fit the hose from my shop vac. The bags keep excellent suction, even when the bag is nearly full. They work much better than the pleated filter that came with the vac. Also, it's much cleaner when it comes time to replace the bag versus emptying the vac and cleaning the pleated filter.
One star due to mislabeling by Lowes
Would RecommendThey work fine but this is not a 5 pack. It's for 5-8 gallon shop vacs. Apparently Lowes.com has mislabeled the quantities on several of the Shop Vac filtration bags. The items work fine but until the descriptions are updated I'll give them 1 star. Make sure you compare the model # to the Shop Vac website for an accurate description.
Fine Dust Filter Bag Performance
Would RecommendYes! Finally. I asked my husband to pick up a filter bag for his "wet/dry" machine (different brand) and he gets the same paper filter because it works for his crews of electricians. Works like a whale's blow hole. After a few minutes on the Lowe's website, I found a "fine dust" filter for a shop-vac. Searched for a small shop-vac and found the 6gal on sale for less than $35. the 5.5 gal was $85. What a steal. After spending 16 hours sanding 250 sq ft of thin set (Fortified Laticrete) I was no...
Awesome for Coal Dust!
Would RecommendI use these for cleaning out my coal stove. Amazing! Previously any bag just let the dust through and it blew all over the house! With these bags NOTHING gets out!
Drywall Collection filter bag
Would RecommendUsed this with my 8 gallon Shop vac to clean up Drywall dust and debris. Did an excellent job and kept the shop vac from releasing drywall dust.
