Would Not RecommendThe idea is solid but the execution is poor. Recently installed this item. Installation went easy enough although I felt that the plastic was rather flimsy and thin. Once everything was together, I found the trim/cover did not seat soundly resulting in a poor fit and little effort to come apart. I had previously purchased a similar item from Oatley and found it to be much better quality. Next time I install one I will go with the Oatley instead.

Would Not RecommendI asked the Lowe's associate in the plumbing section for an Oatley washer outlet box with PEX valves and didn't notice he had handed me the SharkBite washer outlet box with PEX valves. When I went to install it I immediately noticed the quality of the mounting box was inferior to what I was used to with the Oatley box. Best for in wall deployment
Would RecommendThe casing is decent enough, though it needed some working to get the holes open for the pipes to fit through. The unit appears to be setup in a manner to be placed into the wall, but we actually had to place it on the wall instead. The connectors have worked good thus far and we have not had any issues out of it.
