Best iron I've ever owned

I've purchased many irons over the years from very expensive Rowenta to less expensive Black and Decker and by far this Shark has been the best. We have had it over 5 years and it is still great. It is getting a bit worn so it's time for a new one, you will not be disappointed.

Disappointed

We purchased the Shark g1305 iron about 2 years ago. I have repair the cord twice and now We get a flashing green lite and the iron either does not heat or gets so hot it burns the clothes. Looks like this one is heading to the landfill!

No durability

I was in Boston in May 2018 and bought the Shark GI505 in a big supermarket. I use this iron only twice a month. In December 2020I was ironing and the iron cooled, I thought there was a lack of energy but it was the iron that burned without anything happening. I live in Brazil and do not find spare parts or technical assistance.

Best iron!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best iron I’ve ever used! It removes tough wrinkles fast and is super easy to use. It has powerful steam and has a reservoir that hold more water than most irons I’ve used. It has a good weight and isn’t too heavy.

Absolutely love this iron******

I have this Iron for about five years ... it is my 2nd one... replacing because steam button gave out and finally the swivel cord has a short... I just purchased another to find out SHARK PROFESSIONAL GI505 1800 WATTS Best iron I ever owned.... SHARK i am disappointed it has been discontinued.... Hope to get many years of wonderful out of this iron... Thank you Shark

Absolutely love this iron******

Works well for what I use it for

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not big into ironing, but I am a sewer and having something to press seams is helpful. This iron works well, certainly better than my old one. The steam feature is super helpful too for wrinkles and creases. Thus far I like this product a lot.

Perfect iron for me!

I got this iron for a Christmas present. It heats up well, and the steam function is great. I use it for ironing clothes as well as for quilting etc.

Excellent Results

I love every detail from the look and precise power it gives fabrics from silk and heavy duty materials. It comes with an extra large water tank and more importantly an anti drip feature. It has steam control and removes wrinkles with an ease. This is by far the most impressive iron i have ever had. I truly recommend this shark iron.

Very good iron

Great iron

Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a new iron. Also love the steam option for the everyday ironing needs.

Ironing done smoothly

Best Iron Ever

Reaches every wrinkle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I finally decided to upgrade my iron. I will admit, I was drawn to the flashy copper color, but it’s a great iron. I’ve only had a chance to iron a set of my daughter’s laundry, but the pointed end could get into every part of her XS clothes. It moves smoothly over the clothing and even straightened ruffles. The steam function is strong and doesn’t drip like my very old iron.

I used to depend on my dryer to get all my wrinkles out of my clothes but the Shark Ultimate Professional Iron has made Ironing so much more enjoyable. The Steam Bursts feature provides just enough steam to get the job done. This Iron has some really great features and is pretty stylish, too!

Serious Ironing!

The steam and spray buttons are bit hard to push in and you have to wait a few seconds in between, but the steam is strong. It seems to be solid and well made and has a nice pointy nose that gets into the tight spots. I can't be 100% enthusiastic about it since my arm got tired after a couple of shirts, but I think it's a good, solid product. I've only used it for one ironing session so far...
