Picks up a lot of dirt but a little unwieldy

Picks up a lot of dirt. Don't know if it is new dirt which accumulated since the last time the vacuum was run or dirt the vacuum missed the last time it was run. A little unwieldy to maneuver and handle. A small person might have some difficulty. If you want to operate it with the vacuum wand detached from the power pod, you will have to use one hand for the vacuum wand and the other hand to carry the pod. Great on all surfaces

Have been very frustrated in the past because most vacuums would sling debris across the floor when vacuuming on hard surfaces. Since we have been working on getting rid of most of our carpet for hard surfaces this was becoming more and more of a big deal. This vacuum with the front soft brusch keeps any debris from escaping. This is the best vacuum I’ve ever owned. I have a split level house and love that I can lift away the canister to clean steps!

Another Shark, Another Winner

The suction is great. The versatility is even better, especially compared to the previous Shark I had. Love the fact that the on/off switch is a simple toggle switch located right on the handle. Very convenient.

This vacuum has it all!!

Let me start by saying that I have only owned two upright vacuums in my life....this being the second! My last one, a bissell, was incredibly great compared to the old bag style from the 80’s that was handed down from my MIL. But after 10 years of use it started to lose its suction where the bagless container locks in place. So for another 5-7 years I used it rigged with a small device wedged under the container to lock it airtight. So maybe I’m easily impressed with the new vacuums? I LOVE this...

Brush roll problems

Bought on 3/4/2019. Worked phenomenally. Big brush roll stopped working on 3/15. Called shark and they refused to have it checked or repaired, tried to charge $80 for a new brush roll after telling us it was a defect in the vacuum. Asked to speak to a supervisor and was told rudely they'd call us back in 2 hours. No call back. Luckily since it was within 30 days of purchase, lowes took it back and refunded the $325 we paid.

Does good

Iv had this vaccume for about a month and so far i love it. Carpet to hard wood is a great feature, i no longer use a broom! Also get a bit of a work out with it which i love, thats when you know its doing a good job! It isnt as slim as the last shark iv owned but iv adjusted. This vaccume so far is worth the extra money.

Great Vacuum

I was not given this in place of a good review. I paid for it and am very happy with it. It is very quiet yet has plenty of cleaning power. Assembly was very simple no tools needed it was a snap into place and away you go. The only downfall, and it is not much of a downfall, is the size of the dust cup. It says it's an XL dust cup but it is not all that big. This vacuum replaced a bissell and the dust cup on that vacuum was big so I guess I just had hopes of it being bigger than that. The pict...

Great While it Lasted

Just like Bill reviewed on November 12, 2018, my brush and bar stopped spinning after 99 days. I called Shark's customer support and they told me the same - the "wearable" part was not covered under warranty but I could get a replacement for $89. I went back to the Lowe's store where I purchased it (Sidney, Ohio). I was not as fortunate as Bill. I was told that since I didn't purchase a Lowe's extended warranty, I could not return. DO NOT BUY SHARK PRODUCTS BECAUSE THEIR WARRANTY STINKS!
