Only works great for so long

Love this vacuum the first six months of owning it. But no matter how many times I clean everything, change filters the suction isn’t nearly as good later down the road

Do not buy this vacuum

I bought this vacuum 2 years ago and within the 1st year the plastic clip that holds the handle in broke so I contacted Shark figuring I had a 7 year warranty and to my surprise what a joke the warranty is only if the motor breaks unbelievable how does this company get away with this this , now in the second year the floor brush roller bottom is falling apart do I even bother trying to contact Shark again , probably should just buy another brand please do your self a favor and do not buy Shark V...

This vacuum is E V E R Y T H I N G

I have been dealing with terrible and overpriced vacuums for so long now, and the latest one bit the dust before it even hit a year. I've got two fluffy dogs and other critters, and no vacuum has been able to tackle the hair accumulation. this vacuum is absolutely incredible. it's not only quiet, but it moves smoothly and can handle shag type rugs with no problems catching. I absolutely live my

I absolutely live my shark. Its got a lot of power & suction. It has great attachments that work well. Its relatively lightweight and easy to push around. That liftaway option is really helpful.

Broken Piece

This is the second Shark vacuum I've owned and I do love Shark products however I'm disappointed that the piece that holds the vacuum upright & allows you to lay it back suddenly broke during routine vacuuming.

This vacuum is so heavy, but really does a great job! It handles our pets and toddler mess on both hardwood and plush carpet. The cord is long enough to do nearly two rooms. In the case that something gets stuck, the suction is easily accessed for cleaning. It has souch versatility with removing the "hub" and edging steps, etc. We even use this for our cars! Love this vacuum!

Even after thrown out

I’ve picked up Sharks from by the road, just recently picked up an NV830 and after cleaning them up and doing maintenance on them, they’re beasts when it comes to cleaning.

Good but bad.

Bought this vacuum aboutn3 years ago and the whole time I've always had issues with the lower brush head would flash the headlights when the roller quits. I'm shocked we got 3 years out of it. When it worked like it was designed to it worked well. Last vacuum was a Kirby, lasted 13 years.

The Best!

I absolutely love this vacuum! I clean houses for a living and have used this vacuum for the last 5 years... my only complaint is that when it was time for me to buy a new one, I noticed that they shortened the cord on the newer models...having a super long cord was one of my favorite things about this vacuum... Please make the cords long again so by the time I have to buy a new one again, the cord will be back to the way it was!

Great general vacuum

This is my 3rd Shark. I had 2 of the Rotator models. The 1st one I didn't realize I could call and they would replace broken parts under warranty. So the second one, when the same part broke, which was right at the top of the wand, was letting air out, no suction.. i simply called and they didn't even charge me shipment and replaced my hose for free. Next time it broke they sent a new hose, free filter and duct cup because the clips broke off on it. Im brutal on my vacuum, I have 5 dogs, 3 are ...

Switch went out can’t get a replacement so now we are buying a new vacuum and you bet it’s not a shark.

Not satisfied

I bought this vacuum for the 1st time 2 months ago. The first time I used it, the lights weren't working. Return it immediately and got a new one. That one worked for a little over 2 months before the motor started to make an annoying high pitched sound. Still was covered under store warranty so I returned that vacuum (the second one) and got a new one. AKA, the 3rd one! Power head won’t work

I bought this less than 2 years ago and I was satisfied with with product. I also cleaned the filters and would clean the powerhead attachment. Now, it won’t work and I looked online to find problems with the powerhead. Why sell it when it doesn’t last?

Works great!

I got this as a gift. It's replacing my current Shark Rotator. I like the versatility this has. I vacuumed the day before with my old vacuum, this one cleaned so much more and picked up hidden dirt in my rug. This machine is a beast! The motorized head is a little too strong and hard to control at times but only with the canister off. So far I'm liking this vacuum!

Floor power head quits working

Absolutely terrible this is the second one I purchased and the bottom piece keeps randomly quit working. It says it comes with a 7 year warranty but they do not stand behind it! I have receipt and all less than a year old and here I am again with a broken vacuum. Do not buy!

Good vacuum until it breaks.

This product has a 7 year limited warranty. “Limited” is the key word. I bought this product in March this year and use it to vacuum my small living room and bedroom since the rest of the house is hardwood. I cleaned the vacuum after every use including the brushes. Anyways the lower portion of the vacuum where the brushes are stopped working. Disappointed

I just bought this vacuum yesterday and I was so excited . It does vacuum well , but it’s super heavy and the self propelled action is very strong . So it’s hard to pull back and it lunges you forward .

Amazing! But...

I've been a Shark fan since 2012 when I bought the Pet Navigator Lift Away. Loved it, kept up with maintenance, renewed the filters, etc. But, after about 7 years it stopped sucking. I saw the Duo Clean had the extra brushroll and thought I'd give it a try. Our dogs love to tear up their rope toys, so we're constantly finding strings everywhere. So far, this has been an amazing vacuum cleaner--picking up much better than my previous (granted, I could get it serviced...). My ONLY "but" about this...
