Love it so far - great for a house with kids

We were looking for a vacuum for a house with small kids. We don't have pets or hair to vacuum up, but plenty of sand, pine needles, and food crumbs. This vacuum is perfect. It works on hard surfaces and carpet, and is quiet enough that my toddler doesn't panic. Originally we'd planned to get a cordless stick vacuum, but we chose this because batteries seem to cause more breakdowns long term.

From what I have experienced so far, it has everything I wanted: light weight, good suction, parts available, price reasonable, warrentee. It's pretty wonderful.

Beyond thrilled with purchase

Was visiting my son/daughter-in-law and was helping out. Used their Shark Rocket Pro, and fell in love with it. When I got home, I ordered one, and love it. I then told my neighbor about it, and she actually purchased one too!!!

Average, not great

Pros; suction works well on carpet and hard flooring. Love the magenta color! Cons; feels cheaply made compared to other Shark Vacs. Hate that there isn't a way to easily remove brush roll to clean. Smaller waste receptacle. Shorter cord. Rubber grips don’t catch on wall like other corded stick vacuums which means it slides/falls more. Overall; good enough vacuum, I just expected more from Shark. This one falls below the mark for me, unfortunately.

Way too heavy for my 82 year old body!

I bought this to replace my Oreck Upright which has become too heavy for me. This Shark does an amazing job over the small patch of carpet I managed to test. I am not able to walk around with it and keep my balance because of the weight. The Owners Guide is useless. It has no arrows to show where the latches are to connect and disconnect. You just have to poke around until you hit on the spot. Again, the weight is also a factor in this searching process. I am sad and disappointed. However, ...

Love it!!

I just got my Shark Rocket Pro Plus Stick Vacuum and love it!! It is lightweight, the small swivel head allows me to get around, under and behind furniture much easier, it's great on my carpeted steps, and so easy to put together. Thank you for making such a great product.

I retired my Dyson!

This is wonderful. It moves so easily and picks up everything, especially dog hair.

Great Pickup

So glad I ordered this vacuum. It's easy to use and maneuver, and does it ever pick up dirt and debris! I didn't realize how much my old vacuum had deteriorated until I saw what the Shark picked up from my rugs. Free overnight shipping was a nice bonus.

Great vacuum

This is my second Shark rocket corded vacuum and just like the earlier model, this is a workhorse as I vacuum a couple of times each week. The attachments that came with this model were limited and thankfully the attachments from my first rocket fit this newer version. The light is a definite plus with this model. I love the way you can switch from the floor to carpet without having to change vacuum heads, the light weight of the unit, and the small footprint for storage.

Great vacuum

I bought this as replacement for a heavier vacuum that was difficult to use on carpet. The Shark is easy to use on carpet and tile floors. I always empty the dust cup and pull off dog hairs from the roller.

I bought this vacuum a month ago and I'm so happy I did. For a small vacuum it has powerful suction. Cleans my wood floors and carpet no problem!

Replaced Another Well Known Brand WithSharp

Saw raves on Tik Tok housecleaning videos for Shark. When my other brand stick broom broke I switched to Sharp. This time instead of Lithium battery I went with a cord. My house is not very large. The suction is superior. Actually vacuums up dust. The light is very bright and helps me see dirt and things I did not previously see. It empties easily...attachments are great. Very happy with this purchase.

Easy to handle

Love the Shark, but this doesn't have the front roller like the 1st one I had gotten

No Wall Mount Available

Disappointed that there is no wall mount available, although the vacuum was manufactured with a "Hang on Storage Hook" feature on it, and the user manual shows that a wall mount is available for purchase as an accessory.

I never thought I would love a vacuum

This is honestly the best vacuum. It is light, and has all the attachments to get into any smaller area needed. I love the light that shines in front of the suction area so you can see exactly what you need to get up. The cord holder top hook also flips down so you can easily release the cord. It is easy to empty with the plastic container and release button so you really never even have to touch the dirt. It gets rid of all of my dog hair. I got this three years ago and hope it lasts forever.

Convenient to use, great for stairs

I bought this for hardwood floors and carpeted stairs. The two modes for floor or carpet are great. Still have to cut hair from the roller, but that's standard. I like how it is easy to switch out the pole to make it hand held for furniture and stairs. Light weight makes it easy to use. Only gripe is it locks into the 90 degree upright super easy while vacuuming. Great value for the price.

Basic vacuum

This vacuum is describe as lightweight and powerful but that is not true. It does handle small areas with light dirt does not get all of the pet hair out of the rug and will not stand upright unless leaning against something. Very disappointed in this product.

Love it!

I am older and wanted something easy to handle with attachments- this vacuum is perfect for me! Easy to move around upstairs and down, corners, floors,& carpet- very satisfied with the size and weight.
