Best trimmer line

There is nothing better or for the price that will stand up to the rough work of edging, stands up twice as long as .095 size. I won't use anything else.

Best line ever used.

This hold up longer than any other I have used. I think this is the best buy for the money. Recommen tin snips to cut.

Not Strong Enough

Rips apart after minimal use. Have to put a new line in my trimmer after each use.

What I needed for the equipment I have

I always have to go by the Garden center to see what they have out for the time I visit Lowe's, I know several people there and they are always friendly and willing to help with anything.

Excellent line for my trimmer

This line is long lasting and will cut through thick grass and weeds without a problem. Loads easily onto my trimmer spool and the container is designed to allow line to come out untangled. The line cutting device on the package is a lifesaver as I don't have to carry a knife.

Shape matters...

I have always use round string on my weed eater until I purchased this product. I didn't know if it would work as well or not, BUT it cut through the identical weeds with half the effort. The only thing that I can think of Is that the triangular shape of the string allows the three corners of the triangle to act as a knife edge and significantly reduces the amount of force required to cut the weed. I won't be using round string anymore...!

eats thru things like a butter knife eats thru butter! Even comes with an awesome cutting tool to cut the line. LOOK OUT MAN!

Great Trimmer Line!

I have purchased a name brand recommended trimmer line in the past and it doesn't compare to the product that I recently purchased. Before, I was constantly changing the line, but now the Shakespeare line is only changed a few times . Used to think that it was just the quality of the trimmer that mattered, but it includes the line as well.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY

I looked at this line and thought it would be great. It is as long as your trimming grass with nothing around it. (Like the middle of your yard.) I tried trimming along my fence and as soon as it it the fence it broke apart. It took me 3 pieces to trim 10 feet. Shakespeare needs to stick with fishing poles and not trimmer line. If you are wondering I do know how to use a weed eater so it's not me.

Not as strong as other string that is 105 it actually feels much thinner

Great Replacement Line

Bought this after I ran out of the pre-cut stranded .095 trimmer line purchased for my Craftsman trimmer. The stranded line cost about $.50 each and lasted only a short while before breaking. I cut the Ugly Line .105 into 18" pieces and it lasts 3-4 times longer than the stranded version, cuts much better, and all for about $.10 apiece. Cheaper to use and much more effective...
