Great Detergent; but DO NOT TRUST the squeeze dose

I find that this is as good as other Seventh Generation laundry detergents, which means it works Very Well. I love that it leaves no lingering fragrances or chemical odors. However, the correct "dose" is confusing. When I followed directions and used one squirt of detergent per load, the bottle was being used up much too fast. I measured the dose and found it was a bit more than a full ounce, not the .35 oz. one squeeze was supposed to be. Following the directions would have resulted in getting...

Easy to use!

Love the easy dose cap! I never feel like I’m wasting product and don’t end up with any residue on my clothes. The scent is just light enough while still feeling fresh, not overpowering. My recent favorite of eco-conscious laundry products.

Worked for me!

I bought about 5 of these on clearance. That was about 1.5 years ago. I have no idea what people are doing but I got incredible mileage out of these and the easy dose worked like a charm. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Doesn't get fabric clean

Doesn't actually get my clothes/linens clean. Clothes and bedding smell as if I didn't even wash them.

Great product

Wow this product blew me away, it smells so good , it leaves fabrics feeling so soft, smelling good and extra clean. Since I started using it my home has an extra freshness and to top it all its affordable.

Easydose Laundry Detergent!

I love the thoughtful design of this detergent's packaging—compact and easy to carry, which is ideal for my trips to the laundry room. The rose scent is light and pleasant, not overwhelming, and one squirt truly does the job for a regular load as promised. Since I’m sensitive to harsh chemicals, I’m grateful this detergent causes no allergic reactions. Poor bottle design

I've been a long-time 7th Gen customer, and decided to try this product because of the smaller packaging. However, the bottle design is horrible. There's no way to "squeeze" out any amount because when I tilt the bottle, it just pours out. I have no way of knowing how much I'm using, AND it makes a huge mess--just like the larger bottles. So disappointing.

EasyDose cap does not function properly

The easy dose cap does not work as advertised. The bottle says “squeeze drinks into dispenser or washer until liquid stop”. However the liquid does not stop if I keep squeezing. Whatever mechanism that’s meant to stop the liquid does not work. Liquid also comes out as soon as I turn it upside down even if I don’t squeeze. This makes it hard to put in a consistent amount of detergent. I plan to return it.

The Dispenser Does Not Operate as Described

Unfortunately, the promised "easy dose" feature was a complete failure. When I opened the cap, laundry liquid began pouring out of the opening long before the bottle reached the completely upside-down position featured in Seventh Generation's video. I even tried to "prime" the bottle once or twice, but the laundry liquid just kept pouring out. With no way to easily dispense and measure the product, and no idea how much I ought to be using when the "one firm squeeze" instruction fails, I'm retur...

Not 66 loads

A firm squeeze held exactly upside down yields approximately 20 ml, not 10ml as stated on the label. This means, it’s dispensing a “heavy load” each time. The bottle only lasts about 34 squeezes and not 66. When a second squeeze is given without flipping the bottle back right side up, it dispenses about 15ml. Still not the 10ml. Company is wrong, or lying, about measurement

The measurement is incorrect. A firm squeeze while holding bottle completely upside down yields approximately 20ml, not 10ml as stated on the label. According to the bottle, this is a heavy load and not a medium load. The bottle then contains only 34 squeezes, not 66. We measured this multiple times with different bottles and different squeezers. Natural detergent

I am using this detergent because my skin is sensitive to other detergent and I feel this one is gentle on my clothes. It’s little on the pricey side and sometimes it takes more than usual amount to clean the clothes effectively but I am satisfied that it is plant based and free from fragrances which is the best part about it.

Favorite detergents

I love these easy dose detergents from seventh generation! So easy to give one squeeze and you're ready to go. They're easy to pick up and use. This one has a very light scent. They're all pretty minimally scented. My husband gets reactions to a lot of detergents but this brand always works for him.

Easy dose lid dose not work

Wanted to like this but the easy dose feature does not work and I poured probably 10 loads of laundry worth of concentrated detergent into my washer on the first load! I wish there were measurement instruction because I don’t even know how to go about using this product with a faulty cap

Dispensing from this bottle is very wasteful.

Dispensing feature is very wasteful. The detergent continues to run over sides of cap after dispensing.

Easy Dose Feature Did Not Work for Me

I purchased this recently and the easy dose feature did not work as expected for me. The dispensing of the product was much more messy than I would have expected.

Messy!

EasyDose is so messy. One squeeze and it overshoots the dispenser cup of my machine either lands on the floor or in the fabric softener space. Will not buy again. Not impressed with the cleaning power of this detergent either!

Not so easy

Easy to dose the entire bottle at once! I was so excited about this bottle. Flipped the cap, and the bottle just poured into the washer. Squeezed once and it just came out faster. Very disappointed. I thought I wouldn’t need pods anymore. I guess not

Beware - You Need to Measure

EasyDose squeeze feature does not work. Product runs and dribbles out of nozzle as soon as you turn it, so you have no idea how much comes out. I should have heeded the other reviews.
