Exactly what I needed

Excellent safe at any price

This safe was much less expensive than others yet it is extremely heavy an well built. There is more room inside than it seemed from the description.

Efficient 2.0 cubic foot secure safe

This was the biggest (2.0 cubic feet)) safe that Sentry offered. It is very efficient overall dimensions for the volume. I would have preferred a larger size but these were all business safes with keys or electronic combinations that I didn't want. Note that is waterproof only if you don't attach it to the floor using the bolt kit that comes with it. I really enjoy this Sentry safe over my old 1.3 cubic foot Sentry safe I have had for 50 years.

Back to the Basics

I had a ditigal Sentry Safe. The electronics quit and the key would not work. It seems that there is a cyliniode that flips when the safe pad quits. This makes the safe not able to open....PERIOD. I had to spend the price of the safe to get thr old one demolished to get my stuff out. Dont buy digital safes! This is a poor design to not have a back door to open the safe when the digital fails.

You'll spend more on batteries than this safe

The product itself will apparently only open if you get fresh batteries each time you want to open it. I put fresh batteries in when it arrived, and three weeks later I had to put in four new batteries again to gain access. Customer service stated that if even one battery wasn't full - the motor wouldn't have enough power to retract the bolts. Just make sure you stop off at the store on the way home and get a new 4-pack each time you need to get into the safe. On an aside - the Lowes AI text...

Came with big dent

Our safe came with a big dent in one of the top corners. We saw it as soon as we opened the box, but since the safe still functioned, we figured it wasn’t worth the hassle of returning and replacing it.

Broken

The shipping box wasn't damaged, but the dial was broken and the handle falls off,there no set screw to fold the handle on,falls right off,even though a magnet sticks to the door, it feels almost plastic, returning it,and looking at other brands,wish I could have selected 0 stars!

Do not buy

We purchased this safe as we thought the sentry brand was reliable. However, the locking system is terrible. It takes at least 3-5 times to get the safe open! I'm going to see if we can still return it. Probably too late!

New safe

The combination lock is a little touchy. It doesn't seem to be the high quality of other safes I have used. Other than that it serves my needs.
