I thought this was great, until one day I accidentally tried opening it with the small key to another lockbox. I couldn't figure out why the key wasn't turning, jiggled it a bit, and the lock opened. Only then did I realize I wasn't using the correct key. Tried with a few other small keys, and while it sometimes took a minute, I was always able to open the lockbox. How crazy is that?

Great for documents

Bought this to protect documents without having to rent a lock-box at bank. Size is just right. Very sturdy construction.

I have had one of theses safes for years, bought this one for my son for Christmas. They are good quality safes.

I gave this as a gift and it seems like it will do its job. I was disappointed that there was a lot of white powder inside the fireproof box when opened. I have to say I was embarrassed to see that. I wouldn’t buy this again as a gift but It’s ok if it’s for your self.

I have purchased their products in the past and they seem durable. Fortunately, I've never had a fire to test the product. I also compared prices online and this one seemed the best for its size.

I haven't firetested it, but seems sturdy

Not much to say here, its exactly as depicted. Definitely a heavy, sturdy safe. Its juuust a bit too small for an unfolded letter/8.5 x 11, but seems to store documents just fine. I obviously haven't tested its fireresistant claims, but I'm hoping I never have to. In the meantime, at least I know where all my documents are, as long as I don't lose this key...

Keys don't work

So I bought this item offline and when I closed the box it locks and the keys DO NOT WORK. Only plus is its fireproof supposedly. Will return and purchase another brand

It's a cheap safe. Works for what I want. I keep my meds and 1 of my .45's in it. I am happy with it.
