Seeds is mixed with soil improved material and fertilizer an 3 in 1 mix to help get your grass growing. Once the ground was ready I sowed the grass seed and covered with hay to keep the birds from eating. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You can't beat the price for this grass seed. It's so easy to distribute and really does help a patchy yard. It's easy to maintain, you just spread the seed put and let it grow on its own and water in-between if we haven't had much rain. It turns your lawn into luscious beautiful thick, nice feeling green grass. The grass seed has fertilizer in it also for it to help the seeds be strong and give it the nutrients it needs to grow healthy.

Good grass seed!
I got lucky - put the grass seed down just as we finally got sone much needed rain! The cool weather is helping, too. I expect to be able to cut the new grass in another 2-3 weeks.

Exceeded my expectations
It worked very well for me, I got tall, green grass in only a few weeks after application. As the matter of fact it work so well, I’m seriously contemplating using for overseeding. (Don’t forget to do the prep work and water as much as needed!.)

Nothing but crabgrass in a can. AVOID
Bought this 3 weeks ago to fill in a couple bare spots in my lawn, and it ended up being nothing but straight crabgrass. Now I have an even worse problem with a TON of crabgrass spreading all over my front lawn and it looks absolutely horrible. Just wanted to fill in a few bare spots and ended up with a terrible crabgrass filled front lawn that looks exponentially worse than before I added the Scott’s EZ Seed. Would give 0 stars if I could. DO NOT USE and avoid this stuff like the plague
