Absolute garbage

I paid $6 extra for this because of the Scotts name and the pet paw friendly claim. First off, they will burn a small hole in the snow but will not spread any at all outside of that. This is the worst ice/snow melt I have EVER used (and I live in North Dakota) Secondly, I had to get a broom and a shovel out and scrape every last bit of the it off the sidewalk because even two days later my poor dog was yelping after walking on the stuff. Melts the ice of the artic

purchased this ice melt with the hopes that it would work and not hurt my dogs paws or my grass. Little did I know this ice melt also melts the heart of many a nasty mean old troll. I recommend it.

Worked OK, Too Expensive for the result

The ice melt did its job, however was easily overwhelmed once the temperature dropped below 10 degrees.

Mixed emotions & I am on my 3rd Container

I have gone thru 2 containers of this and just opened the 3rd two days ago. I have been super happy up until now (which is why I gave 3 stars) as it appears that this ice melt has ruined our driveway, leaving a very large stain resembling oil. Directions were followed with all 3 containers....I am so upset by what has happened.

Works wonders

I bought this stuff because it says its safe for pets. I used it in our back steps during the recent big snow storm in seattle. Works great and it kept on working while it was snowing. My dog walked over it and it didnt bother him or make him sick. We did wipe his paws after he came back in the house. I would recommend it to anyone who has pets and wants to keep them safe.

There is one part of nature that is not damaged at all by this stuff. ICE! It doesn't intimidate ice at all. I think the ice saw the green pellets and thought it was Nutrigrow. I put it on according to their instructions. Nothing. I put it on doubly-thick. A little better, but not much. Total waste of my money.

Worked nicely!

Melted the ice on my deck even in very low temps. Didn't leave white residue like the last product I used. Very happy

Scott's Fast Acting Ice Melt

This is the best Ice Melt that I have found to date. It is very quick acting and the ice is melted in such a short time, I was totally surprised as others take more than one treatment; not this one. Will definitely be purchasing more shortly as winter has only started.
