Mice are more than tiny rodents. They are wire eating, insulation eating, urinating, distructive critters. These blocks for most part are a safety measure with pets. Of course do not rely on this box because if a dog gets it eventually it will chew it open. So Please keep it out of reach of pets. It will make it more difficult for a quick grab if a dog gets it at least you have a chance to get it before any harm is done.
