New design doesn't work

The newer pads with the holes in them just make a big mess, since the soap leaks everywhere. Furthermore, the pad separates from the plastic backing after a few days, making the leakage problem even worse. Please bring back the old design!

The new design needs to be rethought.

The sponge dislodges from its holder. The hole in the middle is useless and obviously interferes with the adhesion of the sponge. Go back to the original. This is the 2nd time it has happened —both times with the heavy duty sponge.

Hole makes dish soap seep out too quickly.

The redesign with the almost dime sized hole makes the dish soap seep out too quickly. It’s a horrible waste, yet I understand it was designed to sell more soap. I will not buy this product anymore even though I’ve been using this product under the old design for over 25 years. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Also the new plastic is very rigid on the new designs. Using the correct material in a product is very important to get a good design. Epic fail in my opinion.

New design leaks and wastes soap

I’ve loved my Scotch-Brite dish wand for years, but recently bought refill sponges, and they leak! I woke up to find the soap all over my counter. Never happened with the old design. I’m going to have to look for a new dish wand.

The hole is a terrible design.

I have been buying the version without a hole for years and have never had a problem with the product. Nowdays I only see this version with a hole in the sponge, and it is absolutely terrible. Dish soap basically straight out, hardly any gets absorbed by the sponge on the way down, and a ton gets wasted. If you fill the wand full of soap, it will all leak out within one sinkfull of dishes. I have another unopened pack of this design, and it's going straight into the trash.

Sponge detaches from plastic head quickly

The quality used to be so much better, now these are rip off after a few uses. Wouldn't recommend

What have you done!

We’ve used the wand, and refills, for years and there are changes that now reflect poorly on your products. The hole in the middle allows the dish soap to just pour out, and the scrubbers seem to be disconnecting from the plastic ‘holder’ that connects it to the wand more quickly. I’m stuffing the hole in the refill with a piece of foam to keep the dish soap from running out. I’d suggest you rethink the changes in design as you will be losing your customers (soon?). Dishwand Refill Sponges

I absolutely loved theses sponges. It was the only thing I would use. I’m so disappointed that they have a new design with the huge hole in the sponge. I’m using so much dish soap that I’m just wasting it and money. Wish you would go back to the old version it was 100 times better.

I love these sponge replacements,but something changed made the glue , they fall off in days

Poor build quality!

We’ve used these for quite awhile. Over the last year or so the quality has gotten worse and worse. The last four packs have fallen apart in just one use. We just ordered more Scrub Daddy dispensers and wand. Will not buy these again.

Hate these newly designed Refills Worst new design

I dislike these newly designed Refills, they are the worst ScotchBrite has put on the market, the hole in the middle allows the dishsoap to pour straight out no matter how the dishwand is stored, I will not be purchasing these again, they waste too much soap, I wish I did not have give them the one star that I did but the website does not allow you to give them less than one, the scotch brite pad shreds also and only last one week. Disappointed

I have been using the Scotch-Brite dishwand for years. Until recently they have worked well and lasted a "reasonable" amount of time. The last 2 scrubber refill (double) packs have been worthless. Within about 3-4 days the scour layer begins to shred. Within a week, the sponge layer has pulled away from the head.... After going through 4 scrubbers in a row, I feel that the quality is no longer there. Obviously, this 3M product will no longer be used in our household....sorry!

Poor quality brush heads

I have been using this product for years, and have recommended it to everyone to revolutionize their dish washing. However, for the last while the quality of the replacement brush heads took a dive and I found the sponge detaching from the plastic backing after very little use. The prices have gone up which would be fine if the quality went up also. Now I find myself replacing the heads every 1-2 weeks as the perfectly good sponge comes away from the plastic rendering it useless. I am not a part...

Dishwand refills...

I bought a double refill two weeks ago..gave one to my daughter and both of us have experienced the coming apart of the dotted bottom (which is supposed to be a plus..as it doesn't hold onto crumbs, etc.)...but they are falling off. Have never experienced this with the regular refills...would have purchased them but they were out of stock at the time. So..purchased these bad purple refills.

I love these sponges, the trouble is you can hardly find them on the store shelf. Scotch-Brite needs to make them more available. Their new style of dishwand refills are too slick and pretty-much useless.

Dishwashing wand

Great Idea, Poor Quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use these in our house as there do make hand-washing dishes much easier. However, the sponge will, with out a doubt, separate from the plastic base within a few weeks. Poor design or bad manufacturing technique is the only flaw. I still buy them as they are effective and throwing your dish sponge away every few weeks is probably a good idea anyways.
