What an amazing product! I'm a teacher and I am always trying to find something that works well to hang wall files, anchor charts, and other teaching materials. Often the products I use just give out after a day or two ... but the Scotch Extreme Fasteners are awesome! Each set of fasteners can hold...

Easy to use and work great!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are awesome! Super easy to use (no tools necessary!) and work great! These are water resistant and can be used outside or inside. I love using them for holiday decorations!

Misleading packaging

I got a package of these to attach two halves of a project together and wanted something a little more heavy-duty than Velcro. The front of the package says (in 2 places) "Holds 10 lbs"; however the back of the package with the usage instructions, it says to hold 6 lbs., to use 1 set. The package includes 2 sets, so shouldn't the front say "Holds 12 lbs” instead of only 10? 6 × 2 = 12. Other than that, awesome product!

I bought this product the first time I saw it. I knew it would solve my problem and it certainly did. I used it to ferret proof all my cabinets. I have advised all of the ferret clubs and we all use it now, still ferret proofing but also so many projects.

Great Product

This product was never designed to hang pictures, etc. on walls, drywall or paneling. It is adhesive backed and intended to be adhered to hard, not porous, surfaces. I use mine to mount my EZPass to my windshield, hang heavier decorations on our large family room windows and such. The hook and loop integration is very heavy duty and requires rigorous effort to separate the two pieces, as it should. I suggest this is a great product and love it.

All Weather Fasteners

PRO: This is 'Scotch Extreme Fasteners' version which can hold up to 2 pounds per inch. I use them with EZ Pass, GPS, Dash Cam etc. and peels off nicely without any damages to dash, glass, plastic in the car. CON: 3" is bit short and Pricey

Does Not Live Up to the Advertising

Used to hang a large poster board, approximately 5 lbs. Four 1x3 strips used (each corner), failed within one month destroying the poster board. Painted sheet rock wall, smooth corrugated plastic board, 1/4 inch thick. 1/2 peeled off the wall, 1/2 peeled off the board . Will not use again.

Scotch All-Weather Fasteners are great!

Really like this product and the way the two pieces attach to each other. Got a sample of this and it works great for attaching the E-Z Pass we have in the vehicle. Makes it easy to exchange it back and forth between our vehicles that we have registered. Looking forward to using it outdoors for easy installation and removal. Like that it holds up well to removing and reapplying. Does not shed like Velcro. Will definitely be using this product for a lot of things.

Glue

I like the way these fasten and unfasten. But the glue tape is weak. Has low tensil strenth. The loops hold good while the tape gives away if subject to a steady pull. But not all the time. Please research your glue a bit more. Thx!

Excellent for GPS & EZPass Units

[Employee of 3m-scotch] Trying to find a fastener that works in extreme temperatures? Look no further than the All-Weather Fasteners that are great for hanging your GPS units on the dash and EZPass on the visor.

Perfect for the job!

reclosable fasteners

This product doesn't work. Is it supposed to be like velcro? I put the sticky side on a small speaker and the other strip on a monitor. It doesn't hold at all.

Fastening
