Great lock with awesome features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Schlage encode is a great keypad. It had all of the features we were looking for and allows our family or pet sitters to get in and out safely. The WiFi connections is super handy and the touchpad is easy to use!

Excellent digital deadbolt lock

Ease of Installation, WiFi connection and notification of entry activity were just a few features I absolutely love.

Over-priced piece of junk

Had this lock for seven or eight months. Even with fresh batteries, this deadbolt decides to go INOPERABLE at random moments/times--leaving us standing outside waiting for it to return to "functioning" (like it rebooted or something). Also, the APP (software) & maybe the firmware are low-tech and kludgey (at best). I do NOT recommend buying this item

It was also easy to add to my Schlage app. So I now can monitor both my house and garage from my phone. I installed an Encode plus on my house over a year ago. Loved how it makes the house more secure when gone. Love how easy it is to change the batteries. Great product. I already recommend ed it to my mom and sister. They have installed them at their house also.
