Disappointing

Lasted less than 3 years. Not worth fixing as same cost buying a new one.

Fire started internal to dryer, not lint related

My wife noted a smokey smell from the dryer. Upon inspection, I found a black charred mess inside of the dryer. I don't know what component failed and started a fire. This could have started a major fire in my house, especially when combined with gas. Safety should be overall the greatest concern.

Bought to replace prior dryer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought Samsung dryer to replace prior dryer with identical model. Prior Samsung dryer lasted 5 years, so did not meet our expectations. The heater went out and no appliance repair services in our area would work on a Samsung model. However, we still have an operating Samsung washer, so at this time we decided to replace the dryer and stay with Samsung. If our current washer/ dryer combo goes out in the next 5 years, we will change brands.

Poor Quality and Very Disappointing

Within just one month, one unit completely stopped working and had to be replaced. The replacement is also very loud and uncomfortable to use. For the price and the brand’s reputation, I had hoped for something more reliable, but this product fell short. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend it.

Terrible product and customer service.

Piece of junk

Simple Piece of junk They don’t want to own up to their defective product they aren’t building these pieces of junk to last I’m buying an older model of Maytag Even if it’s not aesthetically pleasing

Beware of Shattered Glass

It worked great! Until it didn't. Then we were stuck pulling shards of glass out of our still wet clothing since the inner glass on the door shattered within 10 minutes from the start of a cycle. We have had this washer for about 2 years. I went to dry a regular size load of laundry when I heard a loud bang and what I thought was my daughter digging through her Lego box. Purchased March 2021, it has completely stopped working. Will not power on.😢. It looks real pretty but is of no use. That one(1) year warranty? They knew what they were doing.Samsung nor Lowe’s will help.

Absolutely the worst product!

I bought the Samsung dryer 2 years ago. I have replaced the heating element and thermostat 4 times! My wife just informed me it went out again. It's going to the salvage yard this week and I'll be buying an LG, Maytag or Whirlpool.

Does not last long

drum broke 2 years in. 1 year warranty. Lots of issues outside of that

If you're looking for trouble

I made the same mistake twice: the first Samsung gas dryer lasted probably 3 years, The second died after the warranty (1 year). Now I have a real pleasure to look for the way to repair, Worry-Free technicians are not able to find parts (spcifically "main circuit board"), Samsung does not have it neither .... By the way, Samsung wacher looks good but had to be replaced once. Now guessing...

Not durable

3 years old and essential started a fire/dense smoke in our closet with the motor needing to be replaced. Servicing through Samsung has not been helpful and big charges as we are out of the 1 year warranty. Very frustrating for what we thought was a high end device. Not planning on buying additional samsung products based on this experience.

Bad experience

Failed before 2 years

Dryer model DVE45R6100W failed before we had it for two years. Moisture sensor failed first, now HC error showing up and dryer won’t function.

Stay away from Samsung! They suck!

Bought a washer and dryer set in Oct 2021. Less than a year later, the touch panel on the dryer quit working. I got in just under the one year warranty and they replaced the dryer. Now, less than 2 years after buying the original set, the washer won't unlock after washing. Shutting off after 2 minutes

I purchased this dryer a few years ago and have already replaced the heating element and now having trouble with it shutting off after 2 minutes. Would not recommend this Samsung dryer!

DO NOT buy this!

Do NOT buy this product! We have purchased it less than 18 months ago and we had plenty of issues. The latest one is the heating piece who broke completely due to overheating. Technician said that the one placed originally by Samsung is bad quality and super thin. I WOULD NOT make the mistake of purchasing this item again.
