Works as advertised. Clever design with being able to flip the adapters around to fit different pipe sizes.

It works fine.

I replaced a pvc exchange. This exchange was easy to install. I am hoping this exchange will ease any future replacement issues.

Shorter than the old one...

It's a precise distance between my sump pump's discharge pipe and the pipe going outside. This new checkvalve is shorter and i coukdnt move the sump pump closer. So i had to keep fhe old checkvalve and just used the adapter piece. That's what was leaking. When the old checkvalve fails I'll have to add an extension to the dischatge pipe. I'll need to do the same to my backup pump. Both have exactly the same dimensions so i can swap one for the other.

Leaked from the factory

Actually leaked at the connecting seal due whatever torque spec they use

I bought this value and a sump pump since my old one burnt out and my basement flooded. ran to Lowes bought a new pump and check value, installed it, spout a day later I wang getting a banging noise coming from it. I took it out the check value and replaced it with one from an actual plumbing supply house. that did the trick. when I went to return it to the store they said it was declined I asked why and they said it was bio hazard because it was used . however it was defective since it did not ...

Not for use on external pumps

Doesn't work well for pumps that need priming. Looking for a better alternative
