Would Not RecommendI am on my second jig saw. I have experienced the same issue on both. The tool-less blade changer cover just flew off my saw as I was cutting some plywood. As I said earlier, this also occurred on the first one I had. Skil replaced it and I have been using this one for about a year and a half. I am just a home DYI, so it is not an everyday use. I have reviewed the manual over and over and can not find anything I am doing wrong. Has anyone else experienced this issue? I really enjoy my Skil tools...

Would RecommendI had before great Ihad to buy another one. Because of a problem is I asked for help with getting a blade piece that was stuck in it. You couldn't help. My old jigsaw is workable and runs. I needed the piece of blade that was broken off out. And the place you said that would fix it wouldn't. Unless you have an account or contractor. Really they shouldn't even represent you. There in Duncanville, Pa. I Skil I still have here. Maybe you would let send to you to fix. I even registered it...

Would RecommendPurchased this fantastic Skil Jigsaw to replace a 39 year old corded Sears Jigsaw. The Skill jigsaw with battery installed is lighter in weight, much easier to use w/o cord, and many new fractures like a light and blower to help keep the line you are cutting on clear. More powerful, a pleasure to setup, installing blades is so much faster and easier. It has motivated me to find some new projects (look out birds, new houses for you in the near future)! Enough juice!
Good power and enough juice for small project even when used with 2.0amp battery. Cut the equivalent of a 4x8 sheet of 1/2" plywood I to several pieces to repair a porch.
