Would Not RecommendThis size reciprocating saw is perfect for our needs, but it is NOT variable speed as advertised. Maybe we just got a bad one. Regardless, we are returning it.

Would Not RecommendI use this Shaw on a 9-ft pine tree that had a approximate 6 in trunk. I was shocked how well this worked. The tree was dead and had been for a while so I thought it might have been a little harder to cut through. But it really buzzed right through it very easily using a demo blade. You really can't beat the deal that I got out the door was $59 which came with the saw the battery the charger and a small blade which I did not use for this job. Would I buy it again absolutely. How it would hold up...

Would RecommendCuts fine but the battery doesn't hold a charge for very long. Also, you have to let the battery cool off before it will charge .
