SKIL 15' Laser Chalkline and Level
Would RecommendWhen I received this I did not realize how small it was. I used it and found out that it comes in very handy. It fits into my pocket so when working on the wall by my self, I don't have to be bending over to pick it up all the time. There is a magnet that attaches to what ever you are trying to level if there is metal in it. There is also an attachment for making angles correctly. I am very pleased.
Tiny buy effective
Tiny but it gets the job done. Laser is great and built-in level is super nice. Only complain is the battery(s). This unit uses the tiny hearing aids type batteries (which could be costly to replaced over time).
Laser chalk line laser
It’s okay. Not much different from a regular straight line laser. Line goes straight. Bought it thinking it secured to walks so I could keep that straight line and still have two hands for projects. putty tape is a temporary adhesive, like it all is, nothing special, and not very durable at all. It does swivel on the protractor so if you need to measure an angle for a cut of wood ect. It would be a great tool for that. Also the light is not very dominating. Great for hanging art/pictures
Would RecommendAfter getting this I had no idea what I was doing before. Why on earth was I trying to perfectly measure two pilot holes into studs when I could just use this to get a level line. This is perfect for hanging pictures/artwork. What I would do was put the laser on and then use my large 3 foot level to confirm that the laser line is indeed level. The levels that are built into the laser are not that great, but for the price it can't be beat.
