Quality saw for the price point. Settings were close to "all square" out of the box but tweaking is easy to do. Motor has plenty of power and stand is stable. The only thing preventing a 5 star review is the quality of the miter gauge. It needs to be checked every time a cross cut is made as it doesn't hold it's position. With that said, if a better quality miter gauge was included, the price point may get too high to fit the marketing slot Skil's trying to target.

Great saw!

Plenty of power. Love how mobile it is. Could stand to have a rip fence extension option for longer material, but, I can make my own.

Great saw that folds up very compact

I have been putting off purchasing a portable table saw for a few years but finally decided to buy one. I read plenty of reviews and watched several videos that all lead me to this saw. Very glad I bought it! It cuts great and it setup perfectly out of the box. I ripped a bunch of boards and even a 1/4” piece off of a door for a neighbor. This thing is a beast and works flawlessly. If you are looking for a really nice table saw that folds up very compact, get this!

Don’t buy a Craftsman. Junk

Great entry level saw

Easy to adjust and came almost dead square right out of the box. Super easy to assemble with only one person. Definitely worth having for home DIY projects. The rack and pinion fence and folding legs are game changing features at this price.

Probably one of the best tools that I have purchased over the last 40 years. Very happy with the table saw. I made all new cabinets and drawers with it.

I new ten inch table saw.

I am very pleased with my new ten inch table saw, it works great. It has a lot of features that I am still getting used to. I wish it came with a wheel kit. Lol. would recommed this saw.

Best of the Portables

After a thorough review of the many makes of portable table saws, I chose the Skil. There were several reasons for my decision. I already own a Skil wet saw, which worked flawlessly in cutting tile for my kitchen backsplash, so I was confident of the general brand quality. The cost was reasonable for this saw, especially compared with other “pro” brands. Great saw at any price

Love this saw. The rack and pinion fence is better than I imagined. I considered spending a lot more money on a saw that had the same features just because of its brand name. So glad I didn’t do it. There’s no way it could perform better.
