Why would you downsize the shop towel?

I use these for special jobs. Oil changes, brakes, bearings, greasing fittings, working with lubricants, cleaners, and wiping down tools and hardware. Why would you irritate your customers by changing a simple thing like a shop towel? Making a smaller sheet and selling 1/2 rolls doesn't make any sense! I would rather pay more money for full size sheets and a full size roll!! So sad!

My family loves this product, we have used it for a long time now

Getting hard to justify.....

We have used these great shop towels for over 25 years, but it seems every year the towel itself gets smaller, the amount of towels on the roll gets fewer, and the price has risen over 50 percent. I get it, everything is going up, but now the balance of worth it or spend less on cheaper towels that you get 2.5 times more of becomes the puzzle.

Have been using these for many many years & would Always give a 5 Star. The rolls are now smaller & being made of lesser quality. Whereas I used to be able to use a sheet multiple times & rise it out (for dusting), it now falls apart in the first use. So disappointing. Please charge more, BUT DON’T give a lesser product due to inflation. I may as well buy a cheaper brand.

Price increase through smaller size

I have used these towels for years and just noticed that, although prices have increased, the size of the sheets has gotten 10 percent smaller. Be aware of these tricks.

Smaller

Smaller size sheets than the previous ones. We compared them....yet they are more expensive.

Scott shop towels the twelve pack.

I have been buying the twelve pack shop towels for years. Unfortunately the last twelve pack I bought was very disappointing due to the fact that the perforation on the towels were pretty much not there and half the towels on the rolls were all crumpled up.

Disappointed

I bought these for my husband. He’s restoring a car. They easily tear and disintegrate. They are of not help or use for him.

I know that these

I know that these paper towels are strictly for like when someone's changing oil or working on their vehicle and things like that. And yes they work great for that! But I do sometimes feel these for my husband and use them for around the house like I would with normal paper towels. Because they work great and they soak up a lot of stuff and they last a lot longer than original paper towels. I would totally recommend.

Towel size and 1/2 sheets

Yup. I thought they had gotten downsized, like sooo many necessities. But, like ice cream, I’ll continue to buy. I would greatly appreciate it if you could start producing 1/2 sheets. Period. That’s it. 1/2 sheets.

Downsized, thinner, tear easily

The latest batch is a disappointment. They are smaller, thinner, and tear easily. I have to use several towels to accomplish the same tasks that used to take me one. I understand times are hard and supply chain issues are affecting our way of life. I only ask that when the supply chain issues are eventually resolved, you return to making the towels their original size and sturdiness.

I buy this paper towel to do acrylic basil’s this is to me the best paper towel to be thick enough for my monomer not to seep through and get on my table while I’m doing acrylic nails. I highly recommend this if you’re doing nails or if you have to clean grease stuff.

towel was down sized

I've been using these towels for years and just bought a new supply an noticed they reduced the size of toe towel from 11 x 10.4 to 11 x 9.4 and didn't reduce the price. time to look for another brand to use.

We’ve purchased Scott shop towels for years for our business. Recently scott decided to remove 1” per towel. Not only are these towels borderline useless for paint prep now, but this equals nearly 5 foot per roll and 150 foot per box of 30…. The size difference between the boxes is insane! All of this downsize comes the same cost as before. Shame on you Scott. I will be looking else where for our shop supplies from here on out.

Scott’s Shop Verre towels

I’ve been a long time user of Scott’s shop towels but the new towels wouldn’t wipe snot off a runny nose!!! Absolutely terrible!! Worse than cheap toilet paper! Literally tear wiping sweat off of your face.... Will never buy another one

I have been a user of Scott Shop towels since the 80’s. These new ones are crap. Don’t waste your money. Might as well use toilet paper!
