A helpful safety feature when running or walking at night. The strap is durable and tye spray is secured so you don't accidentally spray it but it's still eaay to engage.

The plastic part that has the clip on it can be removed, I don't know if that was the purpose of it, but It fell off my sister's bottle. It's easy to put it back on. Its size makes it easy to hide under a shirt.
