Matte has slight sheen, otherwise excellent.
The paint is very good and goes on smoothly, but it has more of an eggshell finish than true Matte- hence the 4 stars. I still used it and loved the way it transformed an old white light post to a more subdued and updated black.

Drips paint on my hand
Would Not RecommendPaint looked very nice on the table when I was done. The big problem was the nozzle dripped paint all over my hand as I was spraying. I put on a pair of disposable rubber gloves to protect my hand. Do not know if this was a one of faulty can or if all of them do that. The spray nozzle did lay down a uniform pattern without any dribbles on the table I was pairing.
