Would RecommendThere are many primers out there. But I have always used Rust-oleum for rusty metal. In my experience there is none better. I had some lag bolts that the heads on them had rusted. It was in area where I had to look at them. I wire brushed them, cleaned with paint thinner and primed with this primer. After it dried, I painted with a gloss finish coat of Rust-oleum. They look great and I know it will last.

Would RecommendRustoleum paints do well for what they were intended to accomplish. There isn't much to say about such products. Price is a major determinant in terms of overall satisfaction with any product, the notion of value. Given that Rustoleum products, like most retail products are grossly overpriced, I would rate the product mid range in the scale.
