Would RecommendI used this to paint old and rusted heat vents and returns because new ones did not come in the size for my daughter's Craftsman-style home. I took them off, used several light coats . . . and wow! . . . new "antique" looking vents. I didn't get as much coverage as regular spray paint, but the results are excellent. However, if you're new to spray painting, read the directions!

Would RecommendUsed on primered mild steel. Works good. Because of the texturing though you dont really get a lot of coverage out of a can, keep that in mind and get more than you think you'll be needing.

Terrific Results
Would RecommendPRO: The texturing hides mistakes and provides excellent, professional results. CON: It goes on much thicker. Expect to use twice as much paint. TIPS: HIGHLY recommend Rust-Oleum Comfort Grip Spray Paint Gun or something similar. Per directions, use sweeping action and keeping a distance of 16" from the surface to get a smooth application to and to avoid puddling on the surface. The spray gun handle helps in this regard.

Would RecommendThis covered Very well/ Rustoleum Textured Spray Paint. We used this on our Outdoor Fountain. It needed re-finishing after repairing a leak with Flex Seal. Turned out great!

Would Not RecommendI believe the can was 1/2 empty when I bought it and it wasn’t doing a very good job at sticking to wood. Horrible had to go buy another color. I was able to finish the job with 1/2 of can at 1/2 the price of this horrible texture paint…. I definitely don’t recommend this for wood.
