Great paint

Turned out looking great. I put it on with two coats that were just heavy enough not to run and the hammered effect was great. The paint did spatter a bit during painting but blended in well using heavy coats.

Coverage was great.

As a 72 year old woman wishing to upgrade my house without spending a lot of money, I pulled off all the tarnished pulls from my kitchen cabinets. After cleaning them I used the sprayed with primer and then the hammered black paint. What a change and only the cost of 2 cans of paint instead of hundreds of dollars for new pulls.

Rust-Olem Hammerd spray paint

This paint does not perform as advertised. Followed the instructions and the end finish was close to a flat look, not a "hammered" look. Tried a second can and the results were the same.

The Rust-Oleum spray paint was easy to use and for the most part one coat coverage. I would recommend the product and buy again.

Beautiful finish to outside flower pots . Just sprayed on and done. Dry in an hour.

Referbish

Over the past couple years of my life, I've had the proclivity to build and referbish things. I've depended on RUST-OLEUM for everything from small necklace pendants to rustic light fixtures and iron bench legs. It is dependable and elegant. I've never had a need to use another product.

Different technique for this finish than others

We bought 3 cans of the standard applicator grip hammered dark silver (not quite pewter) spray. We also bought one can of rustoleum grey automotive primer spray (would recommend if using this spray on metal that gets use instead of sheerly for decoration). I though three cans would be plenty for our VERY small bistro table set (small table and two small chairs). I would recommend buying a couple extra cans in order to get the real hammered finish. I've used this product in several colors on projects before and have found it to be consistent in quality. I like the finished look.
