Bright Gloss is not bright

I sanded and re-painted bright gold bathroom fixtures. The paint dried a soft satin gold, like primer. Not close to the color of the cap, which was the color the Lowe's representative told me I could expect.

I haven’t yet used this paint, the weather is too cold. I did however, find it several $ cheaper at (I won’t mention the name but it’s the ‘place with the helpful hardware man). Lowes is more convenient because of it’s proximity to the house, but this place has different things and it is easier to get in & out of.

I needed the product because it made the metal shine like bright chrome.

Make sure you continue to shake the bottle after each spray. It is a good product but i notice that i had to spray paint 3 times to get an even color. Make sure you practice spray painting with this can and shake every time because the pigment settles in the bottom fast. Price is not expensive. I do recommend this spray can just practice on a old cardboard and get the even look.

True gold

This is a really nice warm gold color that doesn't feel yellowy or brassy. Goes on smoothly, but may need multiple coats depending on what you're painting. I like that it adds protection against rust for metal too.

More like a brushed chrome

It is a nice shiny silver color, better than a regular silver. Coordinates pretty well with actual chrome; I painted cabinet door hinges to better match my chrome drawer pulls.

Just okay.

Rubs right off plastic. Takes too long to shake to spread evenly. not really metallic look just a slight gloss but more satin or matte.
