This stuff works!
Would RecommendEasy to use and it works. While loose rust needs to be knocked off it doesn't require getting down to bare metal. I don't know how it works. It just does. It does not require brushes or rinsing off. It leaves a paint-ready surface.

Excellent Product, if you can find it!
Would RecommendI have used this Rust Reformer three times and have been very satisfied. It eliminates the need to sand an entire rusted surface before painting. I have used it for metal items placed outside in my yard and it is terrific when used prior to Rustoleum or Krylon spray paint. The only problem is Lowe's often doesn't keep it stocked well and it's hard to find in the stores. You might need a store associate to help you find it.

Spray rust reformer works and convient
Would Recommendworked fine and importantly did not overwhelm with fumes nor drop large amounts of spray. It is important to know this product changes rust into a product that CAN be painted. It is NOT just paint over rust, thus it is am important product, similar to products sold in liquid form such as gallon. It did work and then was painted over with hard gloss spray enamel. Would purchase again.

Drips, Leaks, Messy
Would Not RecommendUsed for painting wrought iron railing on front porch. Not suitable for large projects, as it drips everywhere. Even wiping it & turning upside down to clean/purge wth air, doesnt work. Then, you have to clean up that mess....beyond the drop cloth. Ughhh!
