Would RecommendCall me old fashioned but there is no better paint than oil base paint. if handled properly and responsibly it IS NOT an environmental hazard and last 5 times longer than water based paints, which claim to last but don't. I only wish Lowe's would see fit to reinstate the forest green color which they must've decided was not moving enough and discontinued carrying it.

Superb Paint for rusty metal
Would RecommendI've been using this to paint an old metal shed that has seen far too many years on the original coating. It was rusty all over and there was no way I wanted to sand and prime all those nooks and crannies so I took the lazy way out and used good old Rust Oleum. No surface prep needed, just slather it on and presto, a great looking shed. Oil based paints smell bad and clean up is a real pain but for durability and ease of application, it can't be beat.
