What Customers Are Saying
Customers are sharply divided on this shed. Many praise its durability over years of use, straightforward assembly completed in under an hour, and solid weather resistance for storing garden tools and yard equipment. However, nearly as many report severe door problems—warping, bowing, misalignment, and frequent detachment—that compromise security and weather protection. The most common complaint is the complete absence of shelves, leaving customers frustrated that the product feels incomplete and requires costly DIY solutions. Despite strong durability claims from long-term owners, door defects and missing storage organization significantly undermine satisfaction for many buyers.

Would RecommendWe've had this shed for almost 2 years now, and have been extremely happy with it. It took my wife and me about an hour to assemble, and we anchored it to our deck with 5 large wood screws. I later purchased a Rubbermaid shelving system and installed 2 shelves, one of which holds a 46" TV that weighs roughly 40 lbs. The shed is also home to a small dorm room fridge, as well as various grilling tools and other supplies for the backyard (some of which hang on a peg board I installed on one of the ...

No Shelves included or option to buy them - fail
Would Not RecommendAnd the interior is designed for only 6" boards for shelving unless you want to do some fairly intricate cutting. The doors don't latch very well either. I hope the wind takes to another state so I can get something very different.

Assembly Instructions Inadequite
Would Not RecommendIncredibly hard to assemble. Instructions are not detailed enough, hard to follow. Pre-drilled holes would be an improvement.

problem fixed
Would RecommendI purchased this she'd about a year ago and the doors worped recently and so I left a negative review but I did complain to customer service and they sent a new set of doors and that solved my problem. So now how can I say anything but good about this shed. Would buy again from this company.

Great Garden Shed
Would RecommendThis shed holds all my garden tools as well as snow shovel, bags of soil, seeds, etc. It was easy to put together and is quite durable. I am a big fan of Rubbermaid products, and this one has exceeded my expectations!

Super handy storage; easy assembly.
Would RecommendI was tired of bending over and rearranging and searching for smaller items in the chest type storage box. This Rubbermaid compact vertical storage with the addition of four shelves, solves the problem. Much easier on the back and my nerves. Easy to assemble but quicker with two people. Love it.

Doors are lousy
Would Not RecommendI bought this shed about two years ago - had a contractor come in and build a level cement pad before I had the shed put together. The cement pad is level, so is the shed, and everything is square. The problem is that the doors are held in by little nubs that fit into little depressions and fall out easily when you open them. I solved that by not leaving the doors open when I'd get out my lawn mower, etc. However, this winter the doors fell out (whether due to wind or freezing temps). Because th...

Waste of money
Would Not RecommendMy shed has been up for 4 years and I have already needed to run longer all thread in through the roof to hold the doors on place. A small gust off wind and the doors pop right out. I have also need to bolt the roof panels to the walls because the 4 screws that hold the each panel on blow off as well. last night we had a thunderstorm with 25 mph winds and I come to find the entire shed ripped apart and in pieces

WARPED DOORS - Completely out of hinge sockets
Would Not RecommendIt is a decent looking unit, and it went together easily. After about six months, the doors started warping inward in the middle and outward at the top. I tried removing the doors and putting weight on the warped are to straighten it out, with no success. Now (1.25 years later) the doors are so bowed that they stick out of the hinge pockets at the top by 3". I assume that this is due to sun exposure, but I live in a coastal climate where the temps rarely exceed 80 degrees. I won't buy another.

great service
Bought this shed about two weeks ago. After assembly I found that the doors were bowed in the middle. After contacting Rubbermaid and sending them pictures they sent me two new doors and fixed the problem. Have 4 sheds and they all serve the purpose. The others I've had for years.

great shed
Would RecommendI have had one for 15 years. The door insert broke within a few years but improvised with a bolt and large washer. Excellent condition and has not bowed. Recently, the sliding roof has started to leak. ' will contact the Mfr. for a new seal.

Warped Doors
Would Not RecommendThe doors are bowed in the middle allowing animals and debris to enter the shed. Brand new-and IT IS USELESS if it does not store the intended items and they are exposed to the weather and elements. The doors need an additional hinge in the middle and some type of metal rod installed in the round edge of the door to maintain the shape.

Great Shed!
Would RecommendI have had this shed for over 2 years and it is great! I have had no problems with it. It still looks brand new and it has been in the sun the whole time.

Blabberghasted
Would Not RecommendHow bout on your picture of the shed with shelves you print in large letters on the pic of the shelves "Shelving not included and not for sale here" or make matching shelves available at the retailer?

Convient and easy to assemble
Would RecommendI received the small shed about a month ago and waited 2 weeks before putting it together. The instructions were clear but some of the step had been performed at the factory so that took time to understand. The instructions also recommends 2 people to do the assembly. I did the assembly by myself and had no problems. Assembly took 3 hours. The unit worked as advertised and is now storing my lawn mower, high pressure water pump, leaf blower, and misc. garden tools. Next step is to install some sh...

Leaking, doors come off due to warped roof pieces.
Would Not Recommend5 months out of warranty, the shed started leaking badly. The picture shows that the roof has warped. This has resulted in not only leaks but the doors blowing off in strong winds.

Great for small yards
Would RecommendEasy to put together, great quality and fits all my yard/gardening tools perfectly.
No shelves
Would Not RecommendNot being able to buy Rubbermaid shelves for this shed is upsetting. It is an added expense and more trouble especially for people who are not handy.
