Damaged

Bought in store and the packaging was beat up. After installing the rails, I discovered that half of the hooks were unusable and had looked like they were ran over by a truck. Went back to the store with my receipt to exchange the unusable hooks with ones that are already sold individually and was denied because I already installed the rails.

Perfect for my garage and shed

I purchased two different kits so I could get a variety of track lengths and hanging mounts. These are well-made and were perfect to organize walls in two sheds and my garage. Ease of installation is a plus. The base metal rail will accommodate almost any "between-stud" measure due to the multitude of hole options. I definitely recommend this product.

Great product, but really bad math/engineering

I followed the directions exactly. Started the rail with the end on the stud center. Based on that, you should be able to hit 4 studs at 16". When I came up a hole short I thought I measured wrong. Nope. So I went and counted the holes and yup... a hole short. In order to hit 4 studs at 16" the rail needs to be 49" since the holes start 1/2' from the end. This is embarrassingly bad design. Designed to fail

According to the instructions, the rail must begin and end on a stud. But, as others have said, the farthest apart screw holes are 47", which means they can't both hit a stud for either 12" or 16" spacing. You can use the supplied anchors, or not have the ends attached but, according to the instructions, it will not then support the advertised weight. Unless you're lucky enough to be able to take advantage of variability in stud spacing, there is no way this product can comply with it's own inst...

I love that it is expandable and you can add whatever additions you need. So far, it seems very durable and sturdy. Yes, I would recommend this product especially for organizing a garage or hallway!
