I bought 10 of these to go around the new trees and they are a great fit. They provide a good weed barrier around the tree and I can even use the lawn mower over them without having to remove them. The hole is not super big so it may take some modification if you ware installing them on bigger trees however for new tree it's perfect.

My wife loves her mulch rings.

Bought four of these to put around lamp posts along driveway. Works perfectly for keeping weeds away without damaging posts with mowing equipment.

Porus Both Ways

While it lets water thru, it lets coco grass (common trash grass) grow thru it. Not sure if I want to poison it since the mats were to protect young citrus trees. Will remove and weed as needed.

I like this brand because one side has a cloth weed block fabric.

Rubber Tree Rings

This product does a great job for protection of small trees from mower damage but they are expensive. They often cost more than the plants they protect! Your should offer several in a package or quantity discounts to reduce the price.

Great for new trees

Perfect for what I needed for 10 small trees I purchased. Store never has enough on hand in Winter/Spring. Had to purchase the 4 Red and 6 Black Tree Rings at Knightdale, NC store.

Great for young trees

Put 20 of these on my young fruit trees to help keep weeds and grass away from them and look good. They work very well.

Quick and easy!!!!

Putting around tree; looks great. to soon to tell if it will last; we just went though a 5 inch rain and it held up fine.

Great Item

I had another one of these, just sitting in my AZ backyard for over a year, bottom up and there was NO sun damage. I bought this on to cut up and use as a to absorb for under my whole house house water filter. When I remove it (the filter) there is a possibility that the filter housing could drop hard onto the stone beneath it and crack. This is a very good material to prevent the damage from happening.

The product is very good. Thicker than what is sold in the stores. Marked $24.99 on the product (which I wouldn't pay) but sold online for around $10.00. I believe the ones in the store are $7.98, but thinner, but still work well...that is, if the stores would restock them when they sold out. Now a word about Lowes online. I purchased 4. They were just thrown in a box and two were torn. One so bad it fell apart on lifting it out. Lowes did refund my money on receiving them back very quickly. But...

Love these rings! Not as easy as advertised worth

I love these little tree rings. They're great to use around trees and shrubs, especially newly planted trees. They're advertised as only minutes to install, which isn't true. Reason being is the installation instructions state to remove all grass and weeds from the area that you'll be installing the ring on top of. Makes sense. If you don't the weeds may push their way through the rubber ring, eventually. Remove the weeds and that helps prevent it from doing so. I like to buy these to keep on ha...

Sturdy

I have chickens and they have been digging around my young trees to the roots. I've installed these tree rings on 13 trees and the chickens no longer bother the trees. Water easily goes through the material and they were very easy to pit into place and cut the inner whole for wider trunks.

Great weed and moisture control for new trees

The design is easy to use around young trees for weed control, preserving moisture, and aesthetic appeal. The ground needs to be recessed the depth (or a bit more) of the ring to allow mowing over it without hitting the ring with the mower blade. As the tree grows, removal to trim for continued 1 inch allowance around the bark of the tree might make it less desirable for fast-growing trees. Easier than loose mulch

I purchased two of these rings and plan on purchasing more! They are super easy to use and I don't have to lug huge bags of mulch around. The only thing I see that needs improvement is where the ring is cut *in order to place around the tree*. The slit will not close, leaving an opening for weeds to grow. If you could close it then it would be worth 5 stars!

My adult daughter does my mowing for me. After two $20.00 trees were mowed over 'cause she didn't see them, I now defy her to not see the 2' red rubber circle. Oh yes, it retains the moisture so soil doesn't dry out, too!
