Works great

Would Recommend

Used Rotella T6 in an 2004 F-150 with 200,000+ miles that was having camshaft phaser issues. The semi-sythetic 5W20 recommended oil would not hold 20 psi at the camshaft. Went to full sythetic T6 - 5W40 oil and the phasers worked fine. Used this oil through a full winter with temps down to -20. Pick-up started fine all winter. Kept it another 12,000 miles and traded it the next summer. Never had another issue with oil pressure. Also use it in my diesel side by side. 5W40 is recommended i...

Appears to me T6 may reduce cold injector sticking

Would Recommend

I have used various brands of synthetic oils on my 2006 F250 super duty 6.0 diesel over the past 10 years. I have not had the injector ECM reflashed, and in cold weather the engine sometimes chugs until the oil warms up. I attribute this to injector solenoid sticking. This cold chugging was noticeably reduced when I changed to ROTELLA T6.

Shell Rotella motor oil

Would Recommend

Started using Shell 5w40 T-6 in my Cummins 2 years year round. Very happy with it. Even in -30 C the engine starts fairly easy and the gauge shows oil pressure right away. Also use the Shell 15w40 in my motorcycles with the wet clutch . This oil has the JASO MA rating for wet clutch applications to prevent the clutch from slipping. Oil with the JASO-MA does not have the additive which makes the oil extra slippery for engine oil applications. I have also used the 15w40 in my vehicle engines...

Great oil for motorcycles

Would Recommend

I've got 120,000 miles on my Honda Valkyrie so far, all with Rotella T6 5-40. My motor still sounds and runs like it was new. Great oil.

It's been working.

Would Recommend

I use it in a 2007 Honda Rancher ES and it always starts right up like a champ. No slippage nothing I can't complain. I drive this bike hard and change the oil once per year or longer. Checked it the other day after like 13 months still looks ok could use a change so I'm going to do it. I'll probably use Rotella T6 again. It seems to be good stuff.

BRUH MY LIFTER TICK IS GONE

Would Recommend

Okay folks, I have a 1990 miata. Bad lifter tick like baaaaaaaaaaad lifter tick. It was ticking louder than the clock did in high school when it was the end of the day and you just wanted to go home so you were aimlessly starring at it waiting for it to hit 60. ANYWAYS, i did an oil change on it and used this, cause everyone in the Miata community swears by it. After it was all said and done I went on a little cruise and oh my god. It's gone. No more ticking nothing. And I swear my little Miata...

EXCELLENT PRODUCT

Would Recommend

I've been using T6 in my 2005 Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 after my first oil change, this oil takes the heat and keeps the inside of the motor spotless. No clutch slippage at all. The perfect oil weight to get into the tight clearances and reduce the 50w power and mileage rober.

Motorcycle use

Would Recommend

I have a Kawasaki 1500, model year 2000. I switched to this oil because someone with a similar motorcycle tried it and liked it. Major reason for me switching to this is because it was a full synthetic and very reasonably priced compared to other full synthetic motorcycle oils. I've put on 2000 miles since my oil change and I have started to notice severe clutch slippage. At first it was barely noticeable but as of right now, I have a hard time getting on the interstate without it slipping. Now,...

Good For The Long Haul

Would Recommend

I have been using Rotella T in my Goldwing motorcycle since it was new in 1995. 225,000 miles later, no clutch problems, and my bike uses 4 oz of oil every 10,000 - 12,000 miles, when it is due for a fresh batch. I change it once a year, whether it needs it or not! Good Stuff, wish they made it in correct weights for my car and pickup. I settle for Pennzoil Ultra Full Synthetic in them, but always wish for Rotella Synthetics! I also use Rotella T in lawn, snow, and garden equipment, where heavy ...

Not sure why Ford doesn't want this in the 6.7

On my second oil change with T6, not sure why Ford doesn't recommend it for their 6.7 diesel motors. The engine absolutely runs quieter than using MotorCraft or T5. Excellent product in my opinion.

Use in all my vehicles

Would Recommend

Been using for years in Motorcycle, gas and diesel motors. First used for my motorcycle then started using in everything else to keep it simple. Seems a waste for diesel w/ 3 mos. oil changes low hour tractor. I believe it is a highly engineered lubricant available in some form, throughout the world. (almost)

Excellent all-around oil for heavy-duty use

Would Recommend

We run it in gasoline-powered endurance race cars now. Same protection as Mobil1 0-40 we used to run, but way cheaper and more available. Once had a car come in with a badly warped head, no coolant, and boiling oil (coolant hose burst and the driver didn't notice) - over 10 minutes out on track without coolant! Still kept the rods in, no hard parts got damaged. Highly recommended! I use it in street diesels and my motorcycles, too - also works great there.

Motorcycle oil?

Would Recommend

I have been running T6 in my Kawasaki touring bike for over 45'000 miles and does it ever work great. My engine runs very hot and there have been no oil breakdown and no clutch slippage even pulling my touring trailer. The price sure beats the ten dollar a quart "motorcycle oils". It has the JASO MA rating that Kawasaki requires
