The new ultra works perfectly for sound volume control. My roku 4k stick doesnt work well for sound volume control on my other samsung tv. Much happier with the ultra.

New Roku
I'm new to streaming and went with the Ultra Roku for the voice remote and all apps that are uploaded. It works perfect with Wi-Fi so installation was a breeze and enjoyed this right out of the box.

My 4th Roku
I decided to cut the cord since monthly cost increased so much. I already had (3) Roku sticks on my other tv’s but needed one for my main tv. I decided on the Roku Ultra this time since I had Ethernet behind that tv. The Ultra works great, easy to setup and use. No issues at all. I would recommend!

Setup
I am a long-standing customer and enjoy all my Rokus. I bought a new Yamaha RX-V4A receiver and Sony BRAVIA 3 connected to my new 2025 Roku ultra. The setup was difficult and after many hours of installation everything is now communicating. FYI

I love the Roku Ultra, but I’m not sure if mine might be defective. It does some really strange things. Sometimes it suddenly starts listening and talking on its own, and it even turns off everything connected to it. Another issue is that if I step away for a while, instead of just staying on the screensaver, it shuts everything down. Even if I’m in the middle of watching a program and have to leave the room, it eventually turns everything off. I’m not sure if this is a glitch, if I got a bad un...

The Roku Ultra was very easy to setup for what I want to watch and listen to. it also is a lot faster than the Roku that I was using. Another nice feature I do not have to buy batteries for the remote as it is rechargeable.
