I have had 4 roku remotes in the past that almost all of them had issues with button sensitivity, very frustrating because i don't want to have to use extra pressure for the buttons to go down fully and have to repeatedly repress direction or volume buttons. When you softly slowly press the button down it should still register a 'click' but a lot of these roku remotes you have to press the directional arrows harder than any other remote i've used. Would Not RecommendThe remote stopped working after 2 months. I plugged it in to USB-C and it started working. I found it to have 85% charge according to the Roku TV it is paired to. A day later it stopped working again. The light on the remote is lit as if a button is being pressed but no amount of plugging it in and unplugging it will make it work again.

Slow TV Control on LG and Samsung TV
Would RecommendNo batteries and back lit? What's not to love? Here is my list. It's slow to respond. More specifically, it's slow with power on and off and volume control of the tv. Both the LG and Samsung show the same issue, but the LG is worse. It doesn't matter if I set it infrared or led. It takes 5 to 10 seconds before the TV volume goes down or up. Voice control stopped functioning
Would Not RecommendWe bought this remote just over a year again, and after 2 months, both the hands free voice control and the microphone button stopped working. Wouldn't waste the extra money for the voice control feature. The back lit buttons are nice, but honestly would not spend the extra money again.

Needs headphone jack

Would Not RecommendI was to replace my remote with an actual Roku brand remote, but they all have the same problem. Below the picture describing the buttons, "App shortcut buttons may vary" and the box picture shows four BLANK app shortcut buttons. So, basically Roku is saying, "Buy our products. Oh, by the way, we cannot tell you what you are going to actually get." So there are four buttons devoted to advertising that the customer may not use. :-(

Would Not RecommendI bought this version (Remote Pro 2) because it was advertised (at the time I bought it) as a motion-activated backlight. They said you could pick it up and it lights the buttons. It did that very well... until about 8 months into me having it. Now I actually have to press a button for the backlight to work. Usb-C great!! but..
Would Not RecommendI have the 1st edition pro remote and bought the 2nd edition for the Usb-C charging. As all I have and use in my house is type-C, however compared to my 1st edition I am now without a headphone jack and down 1 custom app launch button. Which is a big down side for me, so I am just going to have to swap remotes when I need to use my headphones. So if I still have to use my old model there's no point in the new one if features are being left out.

Poor battery life!
Love the remotes functionality but hate the battery life as I only get up to 2 weeks on a full charge. Don't use voice commands and have the hands-free switch set to off. IMHO the issue is the backlighting comes on all the time even if you just move the remote. Would make more sense to have the switch control the backlighting instead of hand-free voice commands as there is a button to use voice commands already.
