What Customers Are Saying
The Rocky Sport Utility Max boots are generally well-received for their warmth, comfort, and durability in extreme cold and snowy conditions. Many customers report the boots kept their feet dry and warm during outdoor activities. However, some users experienced issues with leaking, poor traction, and problems with the laces and fit. While the majority of customers are satisfied with the product's performance, the brand may need to address the reported quality and fit concerns.

Long lasting and comfortable
Would RecommendI’ve had great luck with these boots. Have had two pairs last me a decade. Not worn daily of course but come fall and winter these boots racked up the miles stayed dry and had pretty darn good traction aside from wet wood as in porch decking and bark less downed logs lol. Great boots I don’t know anything else with these features and height for the price and longevity.

Love these boots
Would RecommendBought these boots about 3 years ago and absolutely love them! I read a few reviews on them after i bought them and everyone said they leaked. Mine have not leaked once, i wear them hunting and at work ( lineman) and could not be happier! I have worn them in the mud, snow , rain you name it and they have kept my feet dry. They are warm in the winter and actually kept my feet warm for the past 3 years hunting. I seal them every year or so with camp dry also to help. I highly recommend these boots...

Good boots for cold and distance, not water
Would RecommendI bought my first pair several years ago and I'm buying a new pair this year. For comfort, warmth, and durability balanced with cost, these are great. I wore them for three full years of heavy use before they wore out on the stress points where the toes bend halfway through the fourth year. The waterproofing only lasts until the first good soaking. Heavy frost/dew will go right through, but you can quick-step through a shallow stream and stay dry. Camp Dry/Scotchguard will renew the waterproofin...

Durable and waterproof
Would RecommendI bought these boots back in highschool for coyote hunting in wet grass and they have never disappointed! I've walked in streams 6inches deep and never got my feet wet. I've been laying down and crawling through wet grass when it's 38°F and my feet stay warm and dry! These boots are amazing! Only after using them for over 6 years of hunting are they finally starting to show some wear and tear. The only downside I have found with these boots, they are a little heavy. But honestly, I'm much rather...

Warm and Sturdy
Would RecommendI purchased these in 2016. They came with an inner neoprene bootie for additional insulation. I need to replace these liners BUT Rocky no longer has the liners available. I am very disappointed.

not really waterproof
Would Not Recommendwore them bowhunting in wisconsin, sept 19, 2020, temp37 degrees, dew on the grass, i thought one of my feet felt wet, just from walking across the lawn 2 times , then went hunting for the morning until 9:30 , walk across open fields with dew on the grasses. feet felt wet, got home and check my sock and they where damp and wet, felt the inside of boot and edges of the inside sole where wet. I have wear them when dry out and when we get some really snow and see what happens,

Warm, comfy and dry
Would RecommendI’m a hardcore hunter who’s feet were constantly cold. I bought these boots and stand hunted in them the next morning in 12F degree weather with basic wool socks and my feet were warm for the 6 hours I sat. You won’t go wrong with them and they’re easy to walk in also. They run true to size with my New Balance sneakers... and I always recommend a wide width due to thick socks.. Folks I’m cheap, but when it comes down to keeping my feet warm these boots were well worth the money.. You won’t go wr...

Almost perfect.
Would RecommendPut a lot of mileage on a pair over last 2 years with no boot problems and lots of comfort. The only complaint is that the quick tie lace eyelets are sharp and laces don't last. I bought some Kevlar laces and they seem to do the trick better but even they are starting to shred.

Replaced my worn out Rockies with a new pair. Great quality boots. Last pair lasted for a long time.

Questionable Description
Would Not RecommendIndividual boots were heavier than expected. Very snug fit in normal size that I usually wear, not enough "breathing room" to wear an extreme cold type sock. To me a " Sport Utility " description would indicate a more supple, flexible boot...these are quite stiff and unyeilding.

Soaked Feet
Would Not RecommendI bought these last fall and wore them for deer season last winter and turkey season this spring, so probably less than 200 hours in them. Today, after hunting in wet conditions, I was able to wring about 1/4 cup of water out of my socks. These are supposed to be waterproof, but they're not even close. I'm hopeful Rocky will stand behind their product
