Should not have changed the zipper. The new zipper is weak and does not last.

Lasting

I purchased this style boot 6 years ago and they are still in great shape. I wore them 7 days a week for 4 years, and now wear them on average 3 or 4 days out of the week for the last 2 years. They have been put through some rigorous service. Only thing that changed negatively after 6 years is the leather has warped slightly to where the buttons don't line up for the flaps. The zippers still work perfectly, however, and I haven't had any problems. They've lasted 6 years and I don't see any signs...

Rocky quality has definitely gone downhill.

I used to swear by Rocky products, having had one pair last for several years. Best pair of boots I ever had. Many of the younger guys were telling me Rocky's were junk, and now since purchasing two new pair, I have to agree that the quality level has plunged. My next pair barely lasted 6 months before completely coming apart, and the last pair didn't even make it out of the dressing room the first day without the side zip completely blowing out. Don't even get me started on the Customer service...

I like my boots, however, they don’t have enough padding on the inside. In the wintertime your feet will freeze.

Terrible Zipper

READ REVIEW BEFORE PURCHASE The old boots used to have reinforced heavy duty zipper. The new zipper is cheap and can easily be broken. I have fixed my left boots zipper twice now and I work in public safety really needed these for work and convince of the side zipper. Lace's feel cheap too they melted while I was working one day on the my right boot. Would not recommend because of the zipper. Everything else on the boot is great and good material except for the zipper.

Great EMS Boot

I have had a pair for over a decade and I had to finally give in and get a new pair given the sole wore out and the leather has cracked. Always a great investment. Took a few days to break them in, but always a good looking and functional boot.

I am so pleased with my purchase. The shoe is comfortable and the side zipper makes putting it on and taking it off easy. I got one of my colleague to purchase one, that's how much I love it.

Good boot. Been using Alpha force boot over the years and while they are a great boot, not enough ventilation during the summer. Jump boot is roomier and feet don’t sweat (stink) as much

Awesome looking boots.

Comfortable boots and easy to get on and off. Just not as shiney as I thought on the toe.

Solid boots

So I decided to try a new boot from rocky, I used to wear the Alpha force, and bought the Jump boot. When it comes to looks, the jump boot wins but when it comes to comfort the Alpha force takes wins there. But overall I wouldn't buy anything but Rocky's. They are built to last. Great product!!!

Love it

I’ve been wearing Rocky boots all of my 33 years as a LEO. I have these and the waterproof ones. They look great and have lasted for years.

Nice boot

Boots are great for warm weather and / or for administrative personnel. I use to wear these on patrol in my younger days but switched to a more comfortable tactical style boot. Now going back to them I can really feel the difference. They are a really good boot. You may want to order a 1/2 size smaller as I think they run a little big.

Good stuff

I've only had these on for about 3 weeks however, so far so good!! Look great, they're getting broke in. There is a little extra room inside but not enough to cause issues. No complaints here.

Stronger zippers seen on a hoodie

I purchased these boots to replace my old worn out Rocky side zip boots. I noticed immediately that Rocky redesigned the zipper. It is a much weaker and less reliable zipper than my old boot’s zipper. The left boot’s zipper now splits everytime I zip the boot closed. I’ve tried loosening the laces, changing the angle of my leg/ankle, but it doesn’t help. It used to take me five minutes of “playing” with the zipper before it would work properly. 17 years with this boot

started 17 years ago with this boot. its breathable, flexible and holds up well over time. looking to buy my third pair. used every third day and perhaps more for duty. comfortable and supportive. can even wear as a dress boot in a pinch with the polishable toe area. its not a winter boot with a lot of insulation but will do the job when needed and keeps feet dry when stepping in puddles and ditches, as long as water doesn't go over top of boot and they are zipped.

Zipper issues

I bought this boots for my husband, second time he put them on the zipper broke on one the boots. Would like to return them.

The polished toe is perfect!

Great boot at a reasonable price! Thes me boots will last forever.
