So Far worth the puchase

Zip-up feature is the best. My hands don't work too well. Downside - needs a back pull on loop! I grabbed the snap over tab when putting on the boot and it ripped right off. Waterproof so far. Using them with snake guards to move copperheads - No strikes so far.

Love AlphaForce Duty Boots

I wear these boots while on duty for public safety. After about a year I transition them to my lawn care business. So I get a good 2 plus years of use out of them .

Rocky Boots-Waterproof, zipper, composite toe

Purchased these boots about 3 weeks ago, they look great and the materials feel like good quality. The only down size is that it's narrow on the toe area, it's true to its size but I definitely suggest getting a wide size (I got the composite toe boots). Other than the pain it's causing on my toes due to them being narrow they are good boots.

Waterproofing faded fast.

My first pair lasted two years through torturous abuse. Not so much my second pair. The leaked after six months.

Very comfortable

I finally wore out my old Alpha's (about 10 years old) and ordered these. I have been pleasantly surprised as the last has changed and the footbox is wider than the originals. But I guess my feet have widened with age and this is not a problem. The sole is wide, but that provides stability on awkward terrain. Great value for my money!

I’ve owned these boots for a month, and they’ve offered great value for my money. They are very comfortable, and it took me less than a week to break them in (wearing them 10 hours a day). It is good boot

I bought the boots and wore them everyday for four months and that was 12 hour shifts. They were comfortable and held up well. I am trying out the zipper boots because I need the support for my ankles but I am also need the speed of putting them on quickly in case of an emergency. Saying that the boots are waterproof is pushing it though.

Great durability

I bought these 2 weeks ago. I had used them in law enforcement one pair lasted me over 4 years now being used daily. Finally I decided to break down and buy my own for home use. The only down side is breaking the new ones in but I'm looking forward to breaking them in and not having to get another pair for about 5 years.

This is my forth pair, & won't be my last. Durable and comfortable.

LONG lasting comfort

I have had these boots for over 6 years and they are still the most comfortable boot I've ever worn. I've done about everything in these boots from farm work to standing for 8+ hours on concrete floors. The abuse I have given them is surprising how well they held up. The toes didn't even start to wear down until about 5 months ago. These boots are 100% worth every single penny I spent 6 years ago!

Composite toe

I ordered these boots wide so my toes wouldn't rub on the composite toe. Well they where so narrow it was painfull, wide...I think not. So be aware that wide is actually closer to medium. Otherwise the boot felt awsome and I couks see myself ordering a no toe protection same modle and I am sure it would work.

Unusual

Got these boots 2 weeks ago and wearing them ever since. Because this is a zipper up boot, the boot laces are a bit springy. A little rubber band like so you can slip your foot into them. But the bad thing about that is that you can not lace your boot up tightly. As in being at one with the boot, which I prefer. But this is the trade off for a pair of boots that you can slip on and zipper up. It does save a bit of time, not having to lace up your boots every morning. But the main feature for why...

Awesome Company

My first pair of Rocky boots. Exactly what I wanted and as advertised. Great boots, especially to keep your feet dry. Wore them all day in 75 degree dry conditions and feet didn't get sweaty or overheated with the waterproofing. Company service was outstanding. First I ordered the wrong size. Return process was simple, fast and unquestioned to get the correct size. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Never disappoints

Always go back to a proven winner. I had worn a pair of Rocky's AlphaForce boots for years that had treated me real well and took a beating. So when it was time for a new pair I went back to what worked. Of course, these did not disappoint. Fit perfectly and after about a week, they have broken in nicely. I enjoy the added side zipper, as my old one's did not have, and I love the support and comfort they provide my feet.

Too Hot!!

The boots are too hot, too stiff, and the wide are too narrow. I do like the aggressive look. Wish they worked out. Rocky makes great boots but these were not one of them.

Support

I purchased the boots and received them. When I tried them on one of the laces separated. I called customer service to see if they would just mail me a replacement pair of laces, but they would not, I could return the entire pair of boots tat would be much more in shipping than just purchase a new pair of laces. Customer service is not what I would think is up to PAR.

I bought these boots for while I'm on shift at the fire house. I wear them for at least 14 hours a day and they feel great. My feet stay dry and don't hurt at all. Great boots!
