Need two coats

A good looking garage floor covering. Fairly easy to apply but be sure to follow instructions, especially if applying for the first time to concrete floor to ensure it is cleaned and prepared properly before applying paint. Also, if applying on concrete floor not previously painted, you will definitely need two coats. Apply first coat, let dry for at least 24 hours. Then apply second coat and add flakes as instructed if desired.

It works

Great product. Used in basement and really like ease of application and the wow looks in an old basement.

Too little

My garage is 17’x 21’ and, of course. I didn’t quite have enough to finish the job. Would like to buy another one-car garage kit with just the finishing product, but I don’t think it is available.

Coverage

I have to agree with some of the other comments. I got a 2.5 car kit. By the time that I got to the 2nd parking spot, I was starting to run out. I had to apply it sparingly which resulted in it not looking as good. It was unfinished concrete, so that is probably the reason, but I'm assuming there isn't any way of fixing it now without buying another kit. One thing though. We were a little lazy on the first car spot and didn't use the etching. It caused some spots to not take the paint, so...

Epoxy itself was fine.. Mixed the the separate epoxy cans for color consistency. Mixed both A and B can separately as stated in the directions. Waited the time according to the Temp. Went to add the sand for traction and a chemical rection began. It bubbled over the can sides and clumped up horribly. The directions said stir slowly to prevent air bubbles. Comes out nice

Not enough/ strength okay

1 box hardy did my 2 car garage roughly 440 sqft, that was already sealed. Had to buy a second just to get other side done. 8 days later when driving on it, I noticed it peeled a bit, don't expect it to last to long once the cars mud and salt gets on it. Lastly the surface I painted on, was scuffed and cleaned really well, the epoxy paint under did not peel but this did.

The product has basically ruined my garage floors. I followed the instructions precisely so it wasn’t user error. I even double prepped the concrete. I was really looking forward to new beautiful floors. Sadly there are streaks of light and dark lines across the entire floor.

Inconsistent color

Easy to apply. Directions say to mix both cans together (2-1/2 car kit) for color consistency, still has different color grays on the floor. Not sure how that happens. Very thin watery coat. I covered with a clear top coat, which made a consistent shine on the floor. But the clear doesn’t go as far as advertised. Just had enough to cover two car garage with two kits (directions say one box with cover a 2-1/2 car painted floor).

Not Realistic dry time

Product start sticking really fast..after pouring..Was not able to complete my double car garage with product bought..Will have to get a single car kit to finish the job..Which cost another $179 on top of the over $200 that I spent already..Not happy with That..

There is Definitely a Learning Curve

In the first two photos is when I did the first coat of resin, it came out a bit patchy because I was trying to be sparing with the resin paint and the two bags were two slightly different shades of gray so it also caused some of the variation... I needed to buy another box and go back over it because I couldn’t leave it like that. Pre-preparation went well, followed the instructions in the kit exactly as told. Not as good as their other ‘blue’ colored product

Not as good as their other ‘blue’ colored product, which I used in 2016 at a different house, with better results. Instead of bags separating parts A and B, it had two ‘paint’ cans and two smaller activator cans. I followed the instructions faithfully, but it wasn’t as thick (as their other product) when combined, is more transparent, and time will tell regarding durability.
