It is great to have a light shine on whoever is at the door to be able to see clearly the person that is there and also so the person can see when it is dark! I also like this much better than the standard Ring since it is mounted much higher.

Great edition to my Ring doorbell

Ads always be sure to shut off the breaker so as not to give yourself a jolt. I installed the light/camera on our garage door areas existing light fixture.
