The Ring Motion Detector surprised me with its build quality; it feels sturdy and well-made. Setup is super easy via the app, and installation only takes a few minutes. The battery lasts a long time, and what I love most is that it doesn't register false motions like some other sensors. It works perfectly. Highly recommended!

It does it jobs okay

It does its job. However the sensor sensitivity isn’t that great. It detects movement directly in front of it but it loses its sensitivity the wider it goes. It’s small and made from a strong plastic so it’ll do great in almost all weather.

Fortunately haven’t had to use in case of an emergency but great for peace of mind and has worked well when we have tested it a few times. No issues at all and easy to use

The Ring Motion Detector is super easy to set up and works exactly as advertised. It detects motion quickly and reliably, sending alerts straight to my phone so I always know what’s happening around my home. I love that it integrates seamlessly with other Ring devices, making my security system feel complete. It’s small, unobtrusive, and gives me peace of mind knowing I’ll be notified of any activity.

Discrete and effective

This Ring accessory worlds so well in addition to cameras, door alters, etc. I have one placed in my main entrance that picks up movement across the entrance, living room, and the backyard door. It works well and we only have it activated on Away Mode. Very long battery life and so easy to set up.

These are wonderful to add to your home.

This ring door way and window sensor is great especially if you have children that try to open the door. It connects easy, the alerts are loud and clear but not obnoxious, the material is perfect.

Not my favorite, had better luck with other brands

I really don’t care for the contact sensors. With the cold and heat, they tend to unglue and fall off causing false alarms. I wish they made a better system for this
