Would RecommendWe have a very old septic tank. We need to have the drain lines redone. But, we started using Rid-X and we are back to normal operation. First we shocked the system with 2 bottles and 2 boxes of Rid-X and we are working perfectly. We will continue to use while we save up for the new system.

May infect your house with insects
Would Not RecommendI purchased a package back in June after I had the tanks pumped. Used two doses to charge the empty tanks. Went to use it again a couple months later and it was full of meal moths. It contains wheat bran as a carrier and it was obviously infected with either moths or eggs when purchased. Lesson is to get a smaller package and use right away. Then you won't have to deal with an infestation of pantry moths.

First Try at Rid-Ex
Would Not RecommendUsed Rid-Ex for the first time. Pre-measured packed would be nice or a means to see the correct amount is poured. Heavy rains and for the first time had sewer smell in the basement. I caulk it up to coincidence, still have two month to go to finish the box.
