Would RecommendThis was the first time we used the professional version with both enzymes and bacteria. Our septic hasn’t been pumped for over 20 years but it works great! We only have a two person household, so we use it every 3 months instead of monthly. My husband used to be a plumber, and we never, ever let anything go down the toilet but waste and toilet paper. Not paper towels, not cleansing wipes, nothing. Even if it says “septic safe.” That’s how you keep your tank out of trouble.

Would RecommendWe have been using Rid-X for 30 years or more and are very pleased with this product. It has definitely extended the life of our cesspool. It is recommended that you use Rid-X once a month. My husband likes to use Rid-X when we are away for several days to ensure that the application is the most potent. Rid-X is not harmful to the environment, which is definitely a plus.
