Too soon for a good answer. I've only been using it a week. But, it HAS to be better than replacing 12 batteries 3 times a year for much less pictures than competitors. š¬

Right now I'm loving the new solar panels. The upgrades definitely show with the cord clamp, the new mounting bracket, and the fact it charges the new batteries I'm looking forward the new reliability improvements.

Unless I installed it wrong I donāt like the idea of having to un strap it from the tree to bring it in and charge it if needs it My son has an older version which is 2 pieces with a wing nut is removed but the base stays on the tree
